Join now >Sam Bradford (knee) did not practice today.
It’d be a major surprise if he played in Week 8, and there’s a chance he won’t even make the trip to London for the game against the Browns. Teddy Bridgewater, who continues to practice with the team, might be closer to a return than Bradford at this point. But hopefully Bradford can get healthy and back on the field very soon for the NFC North-leading Vikings.

Cooper Kupp scores in Week 7.
Kupp caught four passes for 51 yards and a touchdown in the Rams’ win over the Cardinals in London. The touchdown came on an 18-yard screen pass in the fourth quarter with the Rams already up big. The 24-year-old rookie now has three touchdowns on the season, and he’ll look to do more damage in Week 9 against the Giants.

Multiple reports: Keenan Allen (shoulder) is expected to play against Denver.
Allen was added to the injury report late in the week and was a surprise questionable for the game. He’ll reportedly have to test the shoulder pregame but is expected to be ready to go. If active, he’ll be more of a WR2/FLEX option against the vaunted secondary of the Broncos.

Bears fall short to the Saints and drop to 3-5.
Down early to Drew Brees and the Saints in the Superdome, the Bears likely threw more than they would have like to against a New Orleans defense that’s been impressive lately. Mitchell Trubisky was 14/32 for 164 yards and an interception, while also adding three carries for 53 yards (with a long of 46 yards). Trubisky also showed great toughness on a two-point conversion attempt late, taking a huge hit while throwing and popping right back up. The rookie hasn’t topped 170 yards passing in any of his four starts, but he’s shown some major flashes through four games. He gets a bye before facing the Packers in Week 10.

Ben Roethlisberger plays well as Steelers improve to 5-2.
Roethlisberger was 14/24 for 224 yards and two touchdowns, as he helped keep the offense moving while it relied on the strong running of Le’Veon Bell. The first touchdown was on a nice throw on a slant route to the end zone to Antonio Brown, and the second touchdown was to a wide-open JuJu Smith-Schuster for 31 yards. The Steelers are on the road to face Detroit next Sunday night, so Roethlisberger is more of a QB2 in that contest—given he’s on the road and the Lions are coming of a bye.

Darrius Heyward-Bey catches long pass against the Bengals.
DHB gained 44 yards on a deep pass, though it came on a fake punt. He doesn’t offer fantasy value right now, but it’s great to see the former first-rounder accept his role on special teams and be a good teammate while the Steelers compete for a Super Bowl.

Jeremy Maclin (shoulder) is questionable for Week 7.
Maclin was again limited in practice all week, so he’s likely headed for a true game-time decision on Sunday morning. With Breshad Perriman (concussion) out, the Ravens could really use the veteran receiver in a difficult matchup with Minnesota. Maclin’s presence would be an upgrade for everyone in the Ravens offense.
