Chris Ivory | Free Agent RB

Chris Ivory scores in Week 7.

Ivory was a popular pickup when Leonard Fournette (ankle) was declared out for the Jaguars, and he carried 17 times for 47 yards and a touchdown, but he also lost a fumble. Overall, it was a fine fantasy day—just not as big as most envisioned when inserting him into fantasy lineups. Ivory will be back to a spell role behind Leonard Fournette in Week 9, though T.J. Yeldon (nine carries, 122 yards, touchdown) might have carved out some touches in the backfield.

Marqise Lee | Free Agent WR

Marqise Lee plays well in Week 7.

Lee caught four of six targets for 72 yards in a Jaguars’ blowout win against the Colts. The long of the day for Lee was 45 yards, as he continues to make big plays for Blake Bortles—Lee is averaging 15.1 yards per reception this season. He has yet to score this year, but Lee remains a solid play when the Jags have good matchups.

Ezekiel Elliott | Chargers RB

Ezekiel Elliott’s hearing is today.

Multiple reports said the Cowboys running back’s hearing would be today in New York, which was correct. This is a bit confusing, but we believe Elliott tried to recall the mandate which states his suspension is effective now—and the court denied the request. So now Elliott will have the case reheard en banc, meaning the entire panel of judges in the Fifth Circuit Court will hear the case (before it was just three judges and Elliott lost, 2-1). We’re assuming a decision would take at least a couple days after it is heard today, but perhaps the panel will make a quick decision on this. As of now, Elliott is suspended for Weeks 7-12 and (we believe) he needs the New York court to step in and put the suspension on hold.

Matt Moore | Free Agent QB

Dolphins offense struggles in shutout loss to the Ravens.

With Jay Cutler out with cracked ribs, Matt Moore was under center but could not get anything going, as the Ravens defense played lights out and pitched the largest shutout (40-0) since 2014. Moore was 25/44 for 176 yards and two interceptions in the game. Late in the game, the Ravens had two pick-sixes off Moore—one on an athletic play by linebacker C.J. Mosley, who caught a short pass at the line of scrimmage and took it all the way; and the other on an easy read by cornerback Jimmy Smith on a bad decision by Moore. Cutler is expected to be ready to go in Week 9, but Moore would not be a fantasy option even if he has to make another start.

10/26/17 - 11:45 PM ET

John Ross | Free Agent WR

John Ross (knee) is practicing fully for Week 8.

Ross was a full participant at the end of last week but was not going to be active for the game last Sunday. This week, the rookie receiver is expected to be ready to go. We’ll update you if anything changes, but expect Ross to be out there against the Colts. He’s not a fantasy option quite yet, but the Bengals might try to get the ball in his hands as the season moves forward.

10/25/17 - 04:13 PM ET

Robert Woods | Steelers WR

Robert Woods leads Rams in receiving in Week 7.

Woods caught five of seven targets for 59 yards against the Cardinals, again working as a good target for Jared Goff over the middle. He also added four yards on his lone carry of the game. Woods now has at least five receptions for 59 yards in each of the last three games, and he’ll look to keep it going against the Giants when the Rams emerge from their Week 8 bye week. He’ll be in the FLEX discussion for that game, though he probably doesn’t have a ton of upside.

10/23/17 - 12:39 PM ET

Leonard Fournette | Free Agent RB

Leonard Fournette (ankle) is not expected to play tomorrow, according to Ian Rapoport.

Rapoport says the Jaguars do not expect to have their rookie running back against the Colts, as he’d have tomorrow and then the Week 8 bye to rest and get to 100%. This is by no means definite, and Fournette and the team both indicated throughout the week he was expected to play, but fantasy owners need to start making plans and should pick up Chris Ivory if he’s available. The Jaguars play in the earlier games tomorrow, so Fournette’s status will be official by 11:30 AM ET.
