O.J. Howard | Free Agent TE

O.J. Howard catches one pass as Bucs fall to Cardinals.

It went for 15 yards. Cameron Brate is clearly the tight end to own in Tampa Bay, so Howard isn’t worth rostering in redraft leagues. He’s obviously a great dynasty own.

Sterling Shepard | Buccaneers WR

Sterling Shepard (ankle) is inactive for Week 7.

Though he was limited in practice all week, this is a slight surprise considering Shepard is apparently dealing with a mild ankle sprain. This is his second missed game in a row, and it leaves the Giants thin at receiver in a difficult matchup with Seattle. The Giants have a bye next week, so it’d be a big surprise if the second-year receiver was not ready for the team’s next game.

10/22/17 - 03:20 PM ET

DeSean Jackson | Retired WR

DeSean Jackson scores in Bucs’ comeback attempt.

Jackson caught three passes for 38 yards, including a four-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter to get Tampa Bay on the board after they were down 31-0. They eventually lost 38-33. Jackson could be without Jameis Winston (shoulder) again next Sunday when they take on the Bills, making him a riskier fantasy option.

Martavis Bryant | Free Agent WR

Martavis Bryant quiet yet again in Week 6 win.

Bryant caught two passes for 27 yards. Hopefully most fantasy owners didn’t reach too far based on his talent, as Bryant has been a major disappointment in 2017. He should stay out of lineups in Week 7 against the Bengals.

10/16/17 - 03:10 PM ET

Charles Sims | Free Agent RB

Charles Sims caught four passes for 45 yards in Sunday’s loss to Arizona.

He did not receive a carry. Sims is locked in as the team’s receiving back behind Doug Martin, but he’s not worth owning in fantasy leagues on a loaded offense. The Bucs play the Bills next Sunday.

10/16/17 - 02:10 PM ET

Nick O'Leary | Raiders TE

Nick O’Leary caught two passes for 58 yards in Sunday’s win over Tampa Bay.

O’Leary has stepped up with Charles Clay out, but splitting time with others makes him more difficult to trust. That said, he gets a great matchup against Oakland next Sunday, so O’Leary is worth considering as a streaming option.

10/23/17 - 11:17 AM ET

Antonio Gates | Retired TE

Antonio Gates catches lone target in Week 6.

Gates gained 16 yards on a corner route against the Raiders. The future Hall of Fame tight end’s role isn’t big enough for a fantasy impact right now, despite his contributions in real life to the team.
