Join now >Michael Crabtree scores in Week 6.
Crabtree caught six of ten targets for 52 yards against the Chargers, with his touchdown coming on an out-breaking route where he was hit on stride by Derek Carr and got into the end zone. With Amari Cooper continuing to struggle, Crabtree is Derek Carr’s clear number one receiver for now, and he should be a solid option against Kansas City on Thursday night.

Tyreek Hill held in check as Chiefs fall to the Steelers.
Hill caught five passes for 34 yards in the 19-13 loss. He also rushed once for negative-nine yards. Pittsburgh is playing great defense so far this year, but the same can’t be said for the Raiders—Hill’s opponent on Thursday night. The dynamic playmaker should bounce back in primetime, and he should be in lineups as a WR2.

DeAndre Washington gets four touches against the Chargers.
The second-year back had three carries for -8 yards and one reception for ten yards in the Week 6 loss. As long as Marshawn Lynch remains on the field, Washington isn’t a reliable fantasy option.

Cam Newton has three turnovers as Panthers drop second straight.
Newton was 21/34 for 211 yards and two interceptions, with nine carries for 50 yards and a fumble lost. Looking at the stat sheet, it was a very poor game for Newton—but the stats do not tell the entire story. The fumble, which is currently credited to Newton, was on a pitch to Curtis Samuel on an option play, which Samuel dropped even though it was right in his hands (the stat keepers should credit the fumble to Samuel, so look out for that in the coming days) and returned for a touchdown by Bears rookie safety Eddie Jackson. His first interception was on a pass to Kelvin Benjamin where it went off Benjamin’s hands for an interception by Jackson, who again took it all the way for a touchdown. And the second interception by Newton was a bad one, as he forced the ball at the end of the game pretty much right to Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan instead of lofting it over him to Christian McCaffrey. Newton will look to turn it around against Tampa Bay next week, and he remains a QB1.

Jalen Richard gets five touches in Week 6.
Richard had two carries for -1 yard and three receptions for 27 yards. If the season keeps going south, he and fellow second-year back DeAndre Washington could be in line for more touches.

Kareem Hunt has quiet game on the ground; still totals 110 yards as Chiefs lose first game of the year.
Hunt rushed nine times for 21 yards, but he led the team in receiving with five catches for 89 yards. It’s now been three-straight games without a rushing score for Hunt, but it’s nothing to be concerned about. He’ll look to break that drought on Thursday night against the Raiders, when he’ll obviously be a high-end RB1.
10/16/17 - 03:20 PM ET
Cordarrelle Patterson zooms for touchdown against the Chargers.
Patterson carried three times for 55 yards, including a 47-yard touchdown in the Raiders’ loss. He also had a five-yard reception on his lone target of the game. Patterson’s score came on a jet sweep where he showed his great speed while cutting through the defense on a play that almost looked like a kick return. The dynamic weapon isn’t a reliable fantasy option because he doesn’t get the ball enough on offense, but he can score any time the ball is in his hands.
