Join now >Curtis Samuel catches one pass in Week 7.
The Panthers tried to get the ball in the rookie’s hands a couple of times, as he caught the one pass for 20 yards, but there was also a turnover on a pitch to him. It was an option play, where Cam Newton had what appeared to be a perfect pitch to Samuel, but it was dropped. Newton was given credit for the fumble, but it probably should’ve gone to the rookie receiver. It’s something that might switch within the next few days, so be on the lookout for that if you happened to have Samuel in your fantasy lineup in deeper leagues.

J.J. Nelson held without a catch in Week 6 win.
He did rush once for 16 yards, but that was it. With John Brown healthy, Nelson is just a role player for Bruce Arians’ offense, though he should have some nice games. Still, he should probably be on the waiver wire.

DeVante Parker (ankle) did not practice today.
The Dolphins sound like they don’t expect Parker to play, but he was reportedly walking without a limp yesterday and has shown in the past that he can get ready to play when it doesn’t seem like he’ll be able to. The official injury report for the game will be released tomorrow, and we’ll see how Parker is listed. He was listed as doubtful last week before being inactive against the Patriots.

Travis Kelce caught four passes for 37 yards in Sunday’s loss to Pittsburgh.
Kelce hasn’t been very consistent this year, as he has three big games with three quiet games, but he should have a huge one against Oakland on Thursday night. Kelce is with Zach Ertz in the elite tier behind Rob Gronkowski.

Brock Osweiler plays a handful of snaps at the end of the first half for injured Trevor Siemian.
Osweiler was 2/4 for 18 yards, but Siemian returned for the second half. The backup quarterback will get the start if Siemian is unable to go next week against the Chargers, but he’s expected to play. Osweiler probably isn’t going to have fantasy relevance in 2017.

Amari Cooper continues slow start to the season.
The third-year receiver caught five of six targets for 28 yards against the Chargers, as he’s simply not making explosive plays either with the ball in his hands or down the field. Cooper is averaging 8.1 yards per reception this season and appears to be struggling with confidence despite his great start to his career. He’s difficult to insert into fantasy lineups right now, but he still has WR1 upside.

Matt Forte records 41 yards as both a runner and receiver in loss to the Dolphins.
Forte rushed seven times for 41 yards, and led the team with five receptions for the same yardage total. Bilal Powell’s return put a dent in his overall production, but the veteran is still seeing enough touches to be a solid FLEX option, particularly in PPR leagues. The Jets take on the Falcons next Sunday.
