Delanie Walker | Free Agent TE

Delanie Walker leaves game with apparent leg injury.

Walker was injured in overtime after catching a pass from Marcus Mariota. He limped to the sideline and didn’t even try to put pressure on his right leg, so it looks like Walker’s day is done. Walker had seven receptions for 63 yards in the game, working as Mariota’s go-to guy throughout the game. Tennessee has a bye next week, and now we just have to hope his injury is not too serious. More information should become available within the next day or so.

Carson Palmer | Retired QB

A day for the old guys: Carson Palmer throws for three scores in 38-33 win.

Palmer was 18/22 for 283 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. It could have been an even bigger day if not for Arizona being up 24-0 at halftime and 31-0 in the third quarter, but fantasy owners should be happy with the multi-touchdown effort. Palmer should have a much easier time with Adrian Peterson now behind him in the backfield, and he should be a QB1 option again in Week 7 against the Rams.

10/16/17 - 02:20 PM ET

Alex Smith | Retired QB

Alex Smith was 19/34 for 246 yards and one touchdown in Sunday’s loss to the Steelers.

He also rushed four times for 13 yards. Smith and the Chiefs have struggled against Pittsburgh more than any other team over the past couple years, as they’re 0-3 against them, including the postseason loss in January. As for the 2017 season, Kansas City is now 5-1, and they have a quick turnaround as they take on the Raiders on Thursday night. Smith should have a bounce back against a weak secondary; he’s a low-end QB1.

10/16/17 - 03:15 PM ET

Marshawn Lynch | Free Agent RB

Marshawn Lynch carries 13 times in Week 6.

Lynch gained 63 yards on his 13 attempts, and he also had an interception go off his hand on a route where he might not have been expecting to get the ball. On the ground, this was Lynch’s best game running this season, indicating things have not gone as expected in his return form retirement. With his team at 2-4, Lynch is someone to keep an eye on Thursday night to see how he acts if things don’t go well against Kansas City.

10/16/17 - 02:19 PM ET

Logan Thomas | 49ers TE

Logan Thomas scores first career touchdown in win over the Bucs.

The former college quarterback earned his first career catch a couple weeks ago, and he was able to find the end zone for the first time on a 22-yard reception against Tampa Bay. Thomas has the physical tools to make plays as a tight end, but he’s not a reliable fantasy option.

10/23/17 - 11:20 AM ET

Derek Carr | Retired QB

Derek Carr returns from back injury, but the Raiders lose fourth straight game.

After missing one game with a transverse fracture in his back, Carr returned and appeared to be fine. The fourth-year quarterback was 21/30 for 171 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in the game. Carr’s touchdown was on a strike on an out-breaking route to Michael Crabtree for 23 yards. The second interception wasn’t really on Carr, as it went off a cavalier Marshawn Lynch’s hand on an angle route over the middle. Carr has a short week before facing the Chiefs on Thursday night and should probably be out of fantasy lineups, given his struggles against Kansas City.

10/16/17 - 02:16 PM ET

Vance McDonald | Retired TE

Vance McDonald catches one pass in Steelers’ win.

It went for 26 yards. McDonald isn’t worth considering as a streaming option right now. The Steelers take on the Bengals next Sunday.
