Brandon Marshall | Free Agent WR

Brandon Marshall is undergoing further testing on his ankle, according to the team.

Marshall’s ankle injury looked pretty bad yesterday, but we’ll see what happens after more evaluation on it. He’s probably on the doubtful side of things for Week 6 against Denver.

Benjamin Watson | Retired TE

Benjamin Watson caught six passes for 28 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Bears.

The catches were a team-high, but they didn’t result in much. Watson is a solid streaming option in PPR leagues, but standard league owners should ignore him outside of really good matchups. The Ravens take on the Vikings next Sunday in Minnesota.

10/16/17 - 11:15 AM ET

Albert Wilson | Free Agent WR

Albert Wilson gets three targets in Week 5.

Wilson caught two passes for 18 yards against the Texans. With Chris Conley looking like he’s done for the year with an Achilles injury, Wilson could be in line for more targets. But it might be more likely that Demarcus Robinson steps up on the outside to try and fill in for Conley. Wilson plays Pittsburgh next week, so we’ll see if he gets an uptick in usage.

Matt Ryan | Free Agent QB

Falcons lose close game to the Dolphins in Week 6.

Atlanta had a 17-0 halftime lead, but the offense didn’t score any points in the second half and Matt Ryan’s pass on a potential game-tying or go-ahead drive was intercepted on a great play by Dolphins corner Cordrea Tankersley, who tipped the pass for safety Reshad Jones to intercept. Overall, Ryan was 24/35 for 248 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the loss. The touchdown was on a 40-yard bomb to receiver Marvin Hall. In Week 7, the Falcons travel to Foxborough for a Super Bowl rematch with the Patriots in what could be a shootout. New England continues to give up a lot defensively, so Ryan should be an excellent fantasy option in the game despite his slow statistical start to the season.

10/16/17 - 11:06 AM ET

Sterling Shepard | Buccaneers WR

Sterling Shepard (ankle) is day-to-day.

Things looked worse based off the second-year receiver’s reaction after the injury yesterday, but it’s not the first time we’ve seen him be emotional about mild injuries this year. Shepard might be ready for Sunday against the Broncos, and he could be the number one receiver with Odell Beckham Jr. out. He should be one of the top waiver-wire additions this week.

10/9/17 - 03:18 PM ET

Deshaun Watson | Browns QB

Deshaun Watson throws another three touchdowns; Texans beat the team that passed on him twice.

Watson was 17/29 for 225 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. He also rushed six times for 23 yards. Watson became the first rookie in NFL history to throw for at least three touchdowns in three-consecutive games, and it was fitting to come against Cleveland after they passed on him twice and settled for DeShone Kizer in the spring. Unless Jacoby Brissett scores 60+ fantasy points on Monday night, Watson is going to be the highest-scoring fantasy quarterback through six weeks. That said, he faces his toughest test yet as the Texans travel to Seattle in Week 7, though no one would blame fantasy owners for keeping the rookie in their lineup.

10/16/17 - 11:56 AM ET

De'Anthony Thomas | Ravens WR

De’Anthony Thomas scores in Week 5 win.

Thomas caught a 10-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter as the Chiefs topped the Texans on Sunday Night Football. He isn’t a fantasy option on a loaded offense.
