Join now >Will Fuller scores twice in Week 5 loss.
After scoring twice in his season debut, Fuller kept it up against the Chiefs, turning both his receptions into scores. They were from 48 and nine yards out, and he also rushed once for five yards. Fuller is a great compliment to DeAndre Hopkins, but his touchdown pace is almost certainly going to slow down. Still, he’s worth a look as a high-upside FLEX option against the Browns next Sunday.

Julius Thomas gets five targets against the Falcons.
Thomas caught three passes for 22 yards, with his long reception going for 12 yards. Jay Cutler also gave Thomas a shot on a deep route down the field, but Thomas didn’t appear to do a good job of tracking or going for the ball. He’s not playing well enough to be a recommended fantasy option right now.

Alex Smith continues MVP-like start to the season as the Chiefs improve to 5-0.
Smith was 29/37 for 324 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-point showing against the Texans. The veteran signal-caller also had 19 yards rushing on five carries. Two of Smith’s touchdowns were to Charcandrick West (one for eight yards and one for four yards), and the other came on a pop pass to De’Anthony Thomas, who was ran jet motion before the snap. Throughout the game, Smith converted on third downs, as the team was 9/16 on third downs including a bunch of long conversions in the first half. It’s hard to play much better than Smith is right now, who deserves a ton of credit for playing like this after the team traded up to draft his heir-apparent tenth overall. He’s always been a great, underappreciated quarterback—but now he’s playing as well as anyone in the NFL and is the clear MVP frontrunner through five games. Smith gets the Steelers next week and is a QB1 option while he’s playing like this.

Rashard Higgins caught one pass in Sunday’s loss to Houston.
It went for 13 yards. Higgins isn’t a fantasy option as a role player on a bad offense.

D’Onta Foreman handles five touches in Week 5 loss to the Chiefs.
Foreman rushed four times for 34 yards, with the highlight being a 25-yard rush where he carried defenders and ran over Marcus Peters. He also caught a three-yard pass and lost a fumble. Lamar Miller is the clear lead back for the Texans, but Foreman is worth holding onto as a talented handcuff that could eat into carries for the starter. He might get some extended run if Houston can handle the Browns in Week 6.
10/9/17 - 02:50 PM ET
Kenny Stills scores in Week 6.
Stills caught all four targets in a win over the Falcons, gaining 49 yards on four receptions. It was the best game of the year so far for Stills, who’s touchdown came on a catch in the back of the end zone on a laser from Jay Cutler. Stills would be a better bet for fantasy production if DeVante Parker (ankle) is out again in Week 7 against the Jets.

Lamar Miller rushed 15 times for 74 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs.
He also caught two passes for 15 yards. It was a solid game from Miller, and it was a good sign to see him out-touch rookie D’Onta Foreman 17 to five. Houston will probably play from ahead against Cleveland in Week 6, making Miller a worthy RB2 play.
