Bilal Powell | Retired RB

Bilal Powell (calf) is out against the Patriots.

Powell didn’t practice at all this week, so this was fully expected. Matt Forte is back just at the right time, as he’ll split work with rookie Elijah McGuire versus New England. Powell has a shot to play in Week 7 against the Dolphins.

Gerald Everett | Free Agent TE

Gerald Everett catches one pass in Week 5.

The rookie tight end gained eight yards on his only reception. Everett is an excellent dynasty league roster hold, but he probably should not be on standard rosters unless you have a ton of roster space.

Vince Mayle | Ravens TE

Vince Mayle scores first career touchdown on first career touch as Ravens beat the Raiders.

Mayle, a hybrid tight end/receiver, rushed for a two-yard score in the first quarter. It was his only touch of the game. Nicknamed “Little LeBron,” Mayle can remain on the waiver wire in fantasy leagues.

Aaron Rodgers | Free Agent QB

The Packers fear Aaron Rodgers broken his collarbone, according to Jay Glazer.

Rodgers is undergoing tests to determine the injury, so we’ll know if it was a collarbone or not after the x-rays. It could be worse if it was a bad shoulder injury, but a broken collarbone would keep Rodgers out for at least a few games in what would be a huge blow to the Packers. Keep in mind, Rodgers broke his collarbone in 2013 and missed seven weeks.

Ty Montgomery | Free Agent RB

Ty Montgomery (ribs) is back after missing one game.

Montgomery is officially active against the Vikings, as was expected. You can safely insert Montgomery into your fantasy lineup, but keep in mind Aaron Jones could be in line for a sizable workload even with Montgomery back. Consider him more of a FLEX option today versus Minnesota, but it wouldn’t be surprising to continue putting up big numbers.

10/15/17 - 11:35 AM ET

Pharoh Cooper | Free Agent WR

Pharoh Cooper catches two passes in Week 5.

Cooper was targeted four times and picked up 22 yards on his two receptions, including a long of 19 yards where he had a catch-and-run over the middle for a first down. He continues to show great toughness and is emerging as a very reliable guy for the Rams.

10/9/17 - 02:09 PM ET

Tavon Austin | Free Agent WR

Tavon Austin zooms for a touchdown in Week 6.

Austin carried six times for 27 yards and a touchdown while adding three receptions for 14 yards against the Seahawks. The touchdown came on what looked like an inside zone from shotgun where Austin received great blocking and sped through the defense (while putting a superb high-step move on Kam Chancellor) on his way to the end zone. Austin is no doubt a good weapon for the Rams, but he’s not a recommended fantasy option in standard-sized leagues.
