Julius Thomas | Retired TE

Julius Thomas catches one pass in Week 5.

Thomas was targeted four times in the game but only caught the one pass for 15 yards. He’s not a good fantasy option at the moment.

Derrick Henry | Ravens RB

Derrick Henry gets only four carries in Week 5.

The second-year back gained nine yards against the Dolphins. After it looked like Henry could emerge as the lead guy for the Titans, it’s clear DeMarco Murray (19 touches) is currently that guy right now. Henry could deliver FLEX value in Week 6 versus the Colts, but he does have a low floor.

10/9/17 - 11:27 AM ET

Zach Zenner | Dolphins RB

Zach Zenner scores in Week 5 loss.

Zenner rushed three times for 11 yards, including a one-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, but was stopped for a loss on a fourth-down-conversion attempt in the second half. We’ve liked Zenner as a player since he came out of small school South Dakota State, and he’s done well when he gets a chance. Still, he’s not a fantasy option.

10/9/17 - 12:08 PM ET

DeMarco Murray | Retired RB

DeMarco Murray gets 19 touches in Week 5 loss.

Murray carried 14 times for 58 yards and added four receptions for 11 yards versus the Dolphins. Miami did a good job of shutting down the Titans rushing attack, so there wasn’t much room for Murray—who also lost a fumble in the game. Though his yardage numbers have been disappointing aside from Week 3 versus Seattle, Murray should remain in fantasy lineups against the Colts in Week 6.

10/9/17 - 11:26 AM ET

Ameer Abdullah | Free Agent RB

Ameer Abdullah has quiet day as Lions lose to the Panthers.

Abdullah saw his lowest touch total of the season, rushing just 10 times for 31 yards. He also caught a three-yard pass. After handling 17+ touches in each of the first four games, this was a disappointment for fantasy owners after Abdullah’s promising performance a week ago. We would consider it a small bump in the road against a stingy defense. Abdullah should get back on track against the Saints next Sunday in a probable shootout. Keep him in lineups as an RB2.

10/9/17 - 12:04 PM ET

Seth DeValve | Panthers TE

Seth DeValve caught three passes for 24 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Jets.

DeValve caught the same number of passes as David Njoku, but the rookie made more of his with 48 yards and a spectacular score. DeValve can stay on the waiver wire.

10/9/17 - 11:25 AM ET

Matthew Stafford | Rams QB

Stafford struggles early, can’t do enough late to bring Detroit back against the Panthers.

Held scoreless for three quarters, Stafford turned it on in the fourth with two touchdown passes, but the Panthers held on to win 27-24. He finished 23/35 for 229 yards and two touchdowns, and fumbled twice (one lost). Carolina mostly controlled the clock and tempo of the game, and Stafford was really quiet until the fourth quarter. The tempo should be a lot better next week against the Saints in a potential shootout.
