Jonathan Stewart | Retired RB

Jonathan Stewart handles 21 touches in Week 5 win.

Stewart rushed 18 times for just 21 yards, adding three catches for 23 yards. The Lions were able to stuff the veteran for most of the day, but the workload is encouraging. Stewart gets a short week before facing the Eagles on Thursday night, and he remains a decent FLEX option with the hopes of a score.

Robert Turbin | Seahawks RB

Robert Turbin gets six touches in Week 5.

Turbin carried four times for six yards and had two receptions for 13 yards versus San Francisco. The big back also received a carry by the goal line, but the 49ers stuffed it. Turbin is a contributor for the Colts, but he’s not reliable in fantasy right now.

Kevin Hogan | Bengals QB

Kevin Hogan nearly brings Cleveland back in relief of DeShone Kizer.

Hogan was 16/19 for 194 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the 17-14 loss to the Jets. The first touchdown was an amazing one-handed grab by tight end David Njoku, and the second was a 41-yard catch-and-run by Duke Johnson. This is the second time Kizer has been benched for Hogan, and the 24-year-old has clearly outplayed him in each appearance. Head coach Hue Jackson going with Kizer over Hogan or Cody Kessler as the starter could be a job killer. We would assume Hogan gets the start in Week 6 for the 0-5 Browns, but he’s not a recommended fantasy option.

Frank Gore | Retired RB

Frank Gore gets 17 touches against his former team.

Gore carried 14 times for 48 yards and added three receptions for 38 yards against the 49ers. The 34-year-old running back also passed Eric Dickerson for seventh on the NFL’s all-time rushing list, which was cool to get versus the 49ers. Marlon Mack (nine carries for 91 yards) made some huge plays in the game, and Gore fumbled twice (but didn’t lose either), so there is slight concern about his workload. But Gore will likely be the clear lead guy in Week 6 against the Titans.

10/9/17 - 11:06 AM ET

Marlon Mack | Free Agent RB

Marlon Mack gets ten touches in Week 5.

The rookie running back flashed off the screen, gaining chunk yardage on his way to nine carries for 91 yards against the 49ers. Mack also had a two-yard reception. The explosive rookie did run off the field late in the game when he appeared to land on his troublesome shoulder, but he didn’t look to be in too much pain and should be fine. The 2-3 Colts might look to get Mack more involved moving forward, and he’s definitely worth a look if you have bench space.

10/9/17 - 11:03 AM ET

Robbie Chosen | Free Agent WR

Robby Anderson caught two passes for 16 yards in Sunday’s win over the Browns.

Anderson is just a low-floor, big-play threat, but he gets a nice matchup with New England in Week 6. Tampa Bay’s deep threat DeSean Jackson just went for 106 yards against the Patriots, but Anderson is in a more conservative offense. Still, he’s worth considering in deeper leagues.

10/9/17 - 11:03 AM ET

Jacoby Brissett | Cardinals QB

Jacoby Brissett scores another rushing touchdown in Colts’ win.

The second-year quarterback played pretty well against the 49ers, going 22/34 for 314 yards and an interception, along with eight carries for 14 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Brissett kept the offense moving versus San Francisco, but his interception was a costly one in overtime where he just made a terrible decision trying to force the ball for a game-winning score. The Colts did get the ball back in overtime, though, and they were able to get into position for a game-ending field goal by Adam Vinatieri (his 10th career game-winning field goal in overtime). There’s a chance Andrew Luck (shoulder) is back for Week 6, but if not it’ll be Brissett under center against the Titans on Monday Night Football
