Derek Carr has back spasms, according to head coach Jack Del Rio.

Back spasms is probably good news considering back injuries can be pretty bad. More information should be out within the next couple of days, and we’ll see if Carr is able to practice on Wednesday.

Orleans Darkwa is inactive for Week 4.

Rookie Wayne Gallman could finally be getting his opportunity, and he’ll look to make the most of it against the Buccaneers. Darkwa will try to get healthy for a week from now against the Chargers.

Kenny Britt gets eight targets in Week 4.

Britt caught three of the targets for 52 yards in the loss to Cincinnati. Through four games, Britt is on pace for 32 receptions for 484 yards and four touchdowns, which is certainly not what the Browns expected when they signed him to a big contract. We’ll see if he can start picking it up next week against the Jets.

Carlos Hyde (hip) is officially active against the Cardinals.

This was the expectation. Hyde can be inserted into fantasy lineups, but the Cardinals are a difficult matchup. He might be more of an RB2 this week.

Giants RB Orleans Darkwa (back) doesn’t practice on Wednesday.

It’s still early in the week, so hopefully Darkwa is able to practice and then play on Sunday. He might have a chance to steal more work in the backfield if he’s healthy.

Dontrelle Inman held to one catch in Week 3 loss.

It went for two yards. He isn’t a fantasy option behind Keenan Allen, Tyrell Williams, and Travis Benjamin, not to mention first-round Mike Williams when he returns.

Matt Breida handles 10 touches behind Carlos Hyde as 49ers fall to Cardinals.

Breida rushed nine times for 16 yards and caught a four-yard pass in the overtime loss. He isn’t a fantasy option for as long as Hyde is healthy. The Niners play the Colts next Sunday.
