Join now >Davante Adams has a concussion and is still in the hospital.
Thankfully, the MRI was “clean” according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, as that ugly hit looked like it could’ve been really bad. Adams will now be in the league’s concussion protocol, and he’ll have over a week to get cleared for Week 5 against the Cowboys. Hopefully Adams is able to get released from the hospital soon.

Devonta Freeman handles 24 touches in Week 3 win.
Freeman rushed 21 times for 106 yards and one touchdown, adding three catches for 32 yards through the air. After a near-even split with Tevin Coleman in the season opener, Freeman has dominated backfield work in each of the past two weeks, and Coleman handled just nine touches on Sunday (though he turned them into 89 yards). We’d expect the touches to even out some in the coming weeks, especially if Coleman keeps breaking off chunk yardage, but Freeman is an every-week RB1/RB2.

ArDarius Stewart catches 24-yard pass in Week 3 win.
It was the rookie’s only reception of the game, but he made it count. Stewart is more of a dynasty league option for now, but he could make a bigger impact later this season.

Carlos Hyde (hip) will be a game-time decision on Sunday.
The 49ers running back was limited in practice all week, and we would expect him to be out there against the Cardinals. The problem is the 49ers play in the later games on Sunday, putting fantasy owners in a bit of a bind. Hopefully we get more clarity on this situation by Sunday morning, but it sounds like Hyde will have to test it out in warmups. He should probably be downgraded slightly even if he does play, as he could be in and out of the game while dealing with the hip.

Markus Wheaton doesn’t catch any passes in Week 4.
Wheaton was targeted over the middle on a pass that was intercepted after it looked like Wheaton might’ve slipped a bit or just stopped a little short on his route, but he didn’t appear to be in the game much. After missing a few weeks with a broken finger, Wheaton is probably working his way back still in his second game back. Wheaton might emerge as Chicago’s number one receiver this season, but he can’t be trusted in fantasy lineups right now.

David Njoku scores for second straight week.
Njoku had two receptions for 12 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Colts. The rookie tight end is capitalizing on his looks in the red zone, and he should be quite the weapon there in the coming years. Njoku is a better dynasty than standard league option for now.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins makes 2017 debut for the Jets.
After missing two games with a suspension, ASJ returned and received six targets from Josh McCown, which tied for a team high with Robby Anderson. Seferian-Jenkins caught five of the targets and had 31 yards in the game. He’s worth an add if you’re struggling at tight end, as McCown could be looking his way a lot this season.
