There was hope that Watkins would be OK for the start of the postseason, so it’s not a great sign that he’s being ruled out ahead of the weekend as the Chiefs return to action. We’d expect Watkins might push to play in the AFC title game if the Chiefs advance, but we’ll see.

Ronald Jones II (quad) will be a game-time decision on Sunday.
Head coach Bruce Arians said that the third-year runner has improved, but even if he suits up, Leonard Fournette will start for the Bucs. We would expect Tampa Bay to come out with a pass-heavy game plan, so Jones II won’t be a highly recommended DFS play this weekend.

Latavius Murray (quad) officially did not practice today.
Murray is day-to-day, but he appears to be in real danger of missing the Divisional Round against the Buccaneers. We’ll see how the bruising runner is listed on the final injury report of the week when it’s out tomorrow.

John Wolford (neck) will not play in the Divisional Round.
Wolford is considered day-to-day with a stinger, but the Rams are playing it smart and ruling him out now. As expected, Jared Goff will start against the Packers on Saturday with a trip to the NFC title game on the line.

The Browns activated KhaDarel Hodge from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
It’s good to hear Hodge can rejoin his teammates, and he’ll be available for this Sunday’s Divisional Round matchup in Kansas City.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle/hip) was officially limited in today’s practice.
Edwards-Helaire still isn’t quite 100%, but a limited practice to start the week is a good sign ahead of the Divisional Round. The rookie runner was not placed on injured reserve when he suffered the ankle/hip injury toward the end of the season, indicating the Chiefs feel good about him getting back on the field soon.

Sammy Watkins (calf) officially did not practice today.
This isn’t a great start to the week for Watkins coming off the bye, but hopefully the Chiefs are just taking things slow with the dynamic receiver ahead of the Divisional Round. Ideally, Watkins will be able to get on the practice field in at least a limited capacity tomorrow.
