Join now >Taylor Heinicke (left shoulder) is officially questionable to return for Washington.
Heinicke is headed to the locker room for further evaluation, and he’s in obvious discomfort with his left arm hanging. This is very unfortunate for a quarterback that’s played exceptionally well in his first playoff start, and undrafted rookie Steven Montez will now be thrust into action against a tough Tampa Bay defense. Before leaving, Heinicke was 16/29 for 209 yards and one interception along with six carries for 46 yards and a tremendous diving touchdown run. Heinicke played better than the numbers indicated, and Washington probably feels good about bringing him back in 2021.

Cooper Kupp thought to be OK.
Kupp is reportedly dealing with a “knee contusion”, which is a bit of a surprise after he limped off and to the locker room earlier this evening in the Rams’ win over the Seahawks. Kupp should have a good shot to be ready for the Divisional Round, and we’d be surprised if he doesn’t do what he can to get out there for his team.

Ronald Jones (quad) is questionable to return for the Buccaneers.
We thought it was odd that Leonard Fournette has been handling the backfield work with Jones not in the game, and this explains it. This sounds like something that might have popped up during pregame warmups, but hopefully the third-year back can enter tonight’s playoff game soon.

John Wolford is thought to be dealing with a stringer.
Wolford was taken to the hospital after leaving the game in the first quarter, but head coach Sean McVay said things are looking positive, and the quarterback was even able to be back in the locker room to celebrate after the game. Either way, Los Angeles should keep rolling with Jared Goff in the Divisional Round, but it’s great to hear Wolford doesn’t seem to be dealing with a serious injury.

Cooper Kupp leaves game with apparent knee injury.
Kupp was about to throw a block when he appeared to suffer a non-contact right knee injury. Kupp limped over to the sideline and is now on the bench showing frustration. Let’s hope this is not too serious, but it’s not looking great; More information should become available in the next day or so. Before leaving, Kupp had four receptions for 78 yards in the Wild Card Round at Seattle.

Mike Evans (knee) is officially active for the Buccaneers.
This has been fully expected after Evans tweaked his knee but suffered no structural damage last week. Tom Brady will have his full group of wide receivers for tonight’s Wild Card matchup against Washington.

John Wolford leaves game with apparent neck injury.
Wolford took a shoulder from Seahawks safety Jamal Adams, and he was immediately in obvious pain. Jared Goff was only an emergency quarterback at less than 100% just 12 days after thumb surgery, but he’ll now enter the game after being active as the backup. This is an unfortunate break for Wolford in his first career playoff start, and hopefully he’s feeling better soon.
