Jamaal Williams | Free Agent RB

Jamaal Williams carries twice for six yards in Week 2.

He also had a five-yard catch. The rookie is a handcuff to Ty Montgomery and doesn’t have standalone fantasy value right now.

Derek Carr | Retired QB

Derek Carr plays lights out in Raiders’ Week 2 win.

Carr couldn’t have played much more efficient against the Jets, going 23/28 for 230 yards and three touchdowns. As usual, Carr was given plenty of time by his offensive line and threw the ball very accurately all over the field. He connected with Michael Crabtree for all three touchdowns through the air, while Oakland added another three touchdowns on the ground. Carr gets to play in primetime as the Raiders face the Redskins on Sunday Night Football in Week 3.

Matt Ryan | Free Agent QB

Matt Ryan was 19/28 for 252 yards and one touchdown in Sunday night’s 34-23 win over the Packers.

He also rushed once for eight yards. Ryan and the Falcons got off to a 24-7 halftime lead, and they relied on the running game in the second half. Atlanta is now 2-0 as they head to Detroit, whom will be playing on a short week after facing the Giants on Monday Night Football. Matty Ice is a solid QB1 for Week 3.

DeAndre Washington | Free Agent RB

DeAndre Washington gets nine touches in Week 2.

Washington had six carries for 20 yards and three receptions (on three targets) for 15 yards versus the Jets. He’s in the mix with Marshawn Lynch and Jalen Richard in Oakland’s backfield, but he can’t be trusted in fantasy lineups right now.

Ty Montgomery | Free Agent RB

Ty Montgomery racks up over 100 yards and two touchdowns in Packers’ Week 2 loss.

Montgomery again worked as the clear lead back for Green Bay, carrying ten times for 35 yards and catching six of seven targets for 75 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown reception came on a shuffle pass and was the 300th of Aaron Rodgers’ career. We recommended Montgomery—who was somehow not going in the first three rounds of many fantasy drafts—as a top-15 overall option this season, and that even might’ve been too low for him—he’s a stud that should be among the top scorers every week.

9/18/17 - 04:24 PM ET

Branden Oliver | Free Agent RB

Branden Oliver rushed three times for 31 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Dolphins.

Oliver gained most of his yardage on a nice 26-yard run, but he’s only going to see a handful of touches each week with Melvin Gordon ahead of him. He can probably stay on the waiver wire.

9/18/17 - 02:34 PM ET

Aaron Rodgers | Free Agent QB

Aaron Rodgers and Packers fall to the Falcons in Week 2.

Rodgers was 33/50 for 343 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception while also being sacked three times and taking some huge hits form the Atlanta defense. Jordy Nelson (quad) leaving early in the first quarter certainly didn’t help things for Green Bay. Rodgers’ interception came on a go route to Geronimo Allison, where Allison appeared to stop his route, perhaps looking for a back-shoulder pass. The former MVP also threw his 300th career touchdown pass in the game, as it came on a shuffle pass to Ty Montgomery in the fourth quarter. Rodgers and the Packers get the 0-2 Bengals next week in Lambeau.
