Todd Gurley dazzles in loss to the Redskins.

Gurley rushed 16 times for 88 yards and one touchdown, adding three catches for 48 yards and another score through the air. The highlight was the 18-yard touchdown catch from Jared Goff where Gurley hurdled a defender and reached for the end zone. Things are a lot easier with a decent line and better coaching, and it’s pretty clear Gurley is one of the best running backs in the NFL. He’s a solid RB1 for Week 3 when the Rams face the 49ers on Thursday night.

Elijah McGuire gets seven touches in Week 2.

They were the first touches of McGuire’s career, as he didn’t receive any work in Week 1. McGuire received work in the first half too, so it wasn’t like he just played because it was a blowout. The rookie had six carries for 29 yards and one reception for seven yards against the Jets. He should remain involved in the offense to some extent, and he has some potential this season if the apparently-rebuilding Jets decide to give the young players like him more time if the team falls out of playoff contention. Keep an eye on him.

Jimmy Graham doesn’t do much in Week 2.

Graham, who left he game briefly with a leg injury but returned, had only one reception for one yard against the 49ers. After talk of a lighter and quicker Graham being ready to make a huge impact and build off last season, he has only four receptions for nine yards through two games this year. The entire passing offense is struggling for the Seahawks so he’s not alone, but it’s still disappointing he hasn’t been able to do much yet this year. Graham still offers a ton of upside and should stay in lineups for Week 3 against the Titans unless you happen to have another solid TE option.

Brandon Coleman scores in loss to the Patriots.

Coleman caught four passes for 82 yards, including a five-yard touchdown in the second quarter. The big-bodied receiver will have one more game in three-WR sets with Willie Snead suspended, but he doesn’t need to be owned in fantasy leagues. The Saints are on the road to face Carolina next.

Jared Goff makes game-ending mistake in 27-20 loss to the Redskins.

Goff was 15/25 for 224 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, which was a pick late in the fourth quarter where he stared down a throw to Cooper Kupp. It was a rare mistake for Goff through two games, but he’ll get a quick turnaround to forget about it with a game this Thursday night against the 49ers. He’s a streaming option.

DeVante Parker caught four passes for 85 yards in Sunday’s win over the Chargers.

Parker made a couple of spectacular grabs, once “Mossing” a defender downfield and another time on a nice over-the-shoulder grab with a defender on his back. Jay Cutler used the short passing game for the most part, but when he did push the ball, it was to Parker. “Faster Alshon” should be treated as an every-week, high-upside WR2 in standard leagues. He gets the Jets next.

Amari Darboh catches only target in Week 2.

It was a 16-yard reception for Darboh. He’s just an option in dynasty leagues for now.
