Jordan Howard | Free Agent RB

Jordan Howard (shoulder) is expected to play today against the Bucs, according to Adam Schefter.

Howard was a limited participant in practice all week and is listed as questionable for the game, but he should be good to go. Check back in when the active/inactives come in at 11:30 AM ET, but expect to be able to have Howard in your fantasy lineup.

Kevin Hogan | Bengals QB

Kevin Hogan throws a touchdown in limited action.

Hogan replaced DeShone Kizer as he struggled with a migraine, and the backup was 5/11 for 118 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He also rushed once for five yards. Hogan hit first-round pick David Njoku for a 23-yard touchdown in the second quarter and was responsible for the team’s only TD in Week 2, but Kizer came back to the game in the second half, ending Hogan’s day. He’ll be the #2 again next week against Indianapolis.

Sam Bradford | Free Agent QB

Adam Schefter reports Vikings QB Sam Bradford will be a game-time decision tomorrow.

According to Schefter, Bradford will work out pregame and then decide on if he will play. It sounds like this decision might not just come down to Bradford, as the Vikings could opt to sit him if they don’t feel he’ll give them a good chance to win at less than 100%. Hopefully Bradford can get out there and play well in a big game against the Steelers in Pittsburgh. We’ll know by 11:30 AM ET if Bradford will be active or not.

DeShone Kizer | Free Agent QB

DeShone Kizer turns it over four times in 24-10 loss to the Ravens.

Kizer was 15/31 for 182 yards and three interceptions, plus a lost fumble on a sack. The rookie didn’t even play the whole game due to a migraine, but he eventually returned after backup Kevin Hogan threw 11 passes. Kizer also rushed five times for 26 yards, but it wasn’t enough to save another concerning performance. Even though the Ravens have an elite defense, Hue Jackson probably made a mistake in thinking the former Notre Dame quarterback could come in and win games after not being able to do so in college. The rushing ability makes Kizer a streaming option in Week 3 against the Colts, but we wouldn’t recommend him.

Kyle Sloter | Vikings QB

The Vikings brought up QB Kyle Sloter from the practice squad.

Sloter is an undrafted rookie that played well for the Broncos this preseason. With Sam Bradford (knee) questionable for the game, the Vikings called up Sloter to the 53-man roster as insurance. This doesn’t mean Bradford won’t be playing in the game (he probably will), but there’s concern about the knee. The Vikings might just have Sloter active either way, this way the team has three quarterbacks for the game in case something happens to both Bradford and backup Case Keenum. Be sure to check in tomorrow morning if you currently have Bradford in your lineup.

Greg Olsen | Retired TE

Greg Olsen (foot) will be out for about six games, according to Ian Rapoport.

With a broken bone in his foot, it could’ve been a lot worse but this sounds pretty good. Rapoport says IR is possible for Olsen, in which case he’d miss more than six games, but Rapoport says Olsen will return this season. If you have an IR spot in your fantasy league, just put Olsen there; if not, you should still keep Olsen on your fantasy team unless you are totally desperate for a roster spot.

Akeem Hunt | Titans RB

The Chiefs brought up RB Akeem Hunt from the practice squad.

Kansas City released veteran running back C.J. Spiller and went with the 24-year-old Hunt. Hunt will likely be active for tomorrow’s game against the Eagles, but he’s unlikely to make any fantasy impact. There is a chance he works his way into a decent role behind starter Kareem Hunt (try not to confuse the names) this season.
