Join now >Jordy Nelson scores in Packers’ Week 1 win.
Nelson caught seven-of-eight targets for 79 yards and a touchdown versus Seattle. The connection is obviously and predictably still there with Aaron Rodgers, who hit Nelson on a 32-yard touchdown in the third quarter of the game. Nelson will again be an elite WR1 this year.

Bilal Powell leads Jets in touches in Week 1.
Matt Forte received most of the work early in the game, but Powell ended up getting 12 touches compared to Forte’s nine. Powell had seven carries for 22 yards and five receptions for 17 yards against the Bills. The backfield is being split evenly right now, but Powell would likely be the one to get more work if the Jets eventually opt to feed one guy more. The Jets play against Oakland next Sunday.

Randall Cobb gets peppered with targets in Week 1.
Cobb was targeted 13 times against the Seahawks and caught nine of them for 85 yards, leading Green Bay in targets and receiving. Cobb had a long of 29 yards, but most of the passes were underneath throws to the flat. Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy have a ton of confidence in Cobb, and he could turn out to be one of the better mid-late round receivers in 2017. We’ll see if he keeps it up against Atlanta in Week 2.

LeSean McCoy had $2.5 million in incentives added to his contract, according to Adam Schefter.
This’ll help alleviate some of McCoy’s clear issues with the team trading away top receiver Sammy Watkins. Whatever the incentives are, McCoy should hit them if he stays healthy because the Bills are going to give him a ton of touches in 2017. McCoy gets the Jets in Week 1.

Sean McVay features Todd Gurley in Week 1 win.
Gurley rushed 19 times for just 40 yards, but he did score, and also added 56 yards through the air on five receptions. Overall, it was a good showing by Gurley, and it’s clear the talented running back will be the workhorse for new head coach Sean McVay. He’s an RB1/RB2 for next week against the Redskins.

Josh McCown throws two interceptions in Jets’ Week 1 loss.
McCown was 26/39 for 187 yards and the two interceptions against the Bills. He did add a rushing touchdown on a quarterback sneak, and the Jets were in it for most of the game. Even in a potentially good matchup against Oakland in Week 2, you’ve got some guts if you want to take a chance on McCown in your fantasy lineup.

Jamaal Williams gets two carries in Week 1.
The rookie running back gained nine yards on his two carries. It’s clear Ty Montgomery will handle most of the backfield touches for the Packers, so Williams is just a handcuff at this point.
