Join now >Terrance Williams leaves Sunday Night Football with an ankle injury.
Williams turned his ankle very badly on the Cowboys’ first drive of the game and is questionable to return. It appeared to be a nasty turn, but it’s possible he’s able to get it taped up and return to the game.

Marvin Jones catches six-yard touchdown in season opener.
He also had a 31-yard reception, finishing with two receptions for 37 yards and a score. It was a good performance in a tough spot, but Jones will likely lose work as the season progresses with Kenny Golladay performing like a stud in his NFL debut. Jones can stay on the bench in Week 2 against the Giants.

Odell Beckham Jr. “moving well” and “looked good” warming up at Giants practice today.
According to multiple reports, OBJ stretched with the team then did work on the side, and he wasn’t wearing a brace or anything on his ankle. Beckham injured his ankle a couple weeks ago, but he’s fine—and there’s no doubt he’ll be ready for Week 1 against the Cowboys. It’ll be interesting to see how Beckham, Brandon Marshall, Sterling Shepard, Evan Engram, and the rest of the Giants offense plays in the opening game.

Taywan Taylor catches both targets in Week 1.
The third-round rookie receiver had two receptions for 14 yards against the Raiders. He doesn’t have the right role to make a fantasy impact yet, but he’ll be there eventually.

Allen Robinson suffered an ACL injury, the team announced.
This was the fear and expectation, though the Jaguars did not yet announce the extent of the injury. They are probably waiting for the MRI, but you can bet it’s a significant injury that will require season-ending surgery. This is quite the loss for Jacksonville, who will now lean on Marqise Lee and others after the loss of their number one receiver. The only slight positive outlook about this is that the Jaguars appear to be committed to running the ball and relying on the defense this season—though Robinson will still be a huge loss. Lee should be the target in fantasy leagues if you’re looking to pick up a receiver from the Jaguars.

Corey Davis leads the Titans in targets in Week 1.
The rookie receiver looked great in his first NFL game, catching six-of-ten targets for 69 yards. His stats weren’t astronomical, but Davis looks good and athletic out there as he showed his acceleration and ability after the catch. Davis is in FLEX consideration for Week 2 against Jacksonville.

Joe Flacco says he’s “ready to go” for Sunday.
Flacco says his back injury was “not ideal, but I feel good now,” while adding he’s “going to be as confident as ever” when he hits the field. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Flacco is “ready to roll,” and it certainly sounds like the weeks of rest did the trick for his back. Missing all that time with his receivers is obviously a concern, but it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see Flacco come out of the gate with a big Week 1 game against the Bengals. He’s easier to trust as a QB2 this week in his first game action of the year, though.
