Join now >The hype is real: Kenny Golladay scores twice in NFL debut.
A preseason “sleeper” for us, Golladay caught four passes for 69 yards and two touchdowns, both in the fourth quarter. The highlight was a diving catch for 45-yard score with two defenders nearby. There’s no way Detroit will keep the impressive rookie off the field, and he needs to be picked up in all fantasy leagues. Golladay has a tough matchup with the Giants next week though, so it’s probably best to keep him on the bench.

Multiple reports: Allen Robinson’s knee injury is feared to be serious.
As is usually the case with these, there will be an MRI to see if these fears are confirmed. It’s be a surprise if Robinson wasn’t out an extended period of time, and chances are it’s for the season given the initial diagnosis. The Jaguars are expected to reveal more information tomorrow after Robinson gets his MRI. All we can do is pray for Robinson and hope for the best at this point.

Rishard Matthews gets nine targets in Week 1.
Marcus Mariota is obviously confident throwing to Matthews over the middle and on third downs, as Matthews had five receptions for 71 yards against Oakland. Rookie Corey Davis was impressive and Eric Decker is in the mix, but Matthews should offer a high floor each week this season. The Titans play the Jaguars next season, and Matthews has a touchdown in each game against them last season.

LeSean McCoy’s workload will be “whatever it takes to win the game.”
McCoy is the clear centerpiece of Buffalo’s offense, and Bills head coach Sean McDermott just knows giving his star running back the ball will give them a better chance to win. The veteran running back should be one of the favorites to lead the league in touches this season, so he has a very high floor and a ton of upside each and every week. He’s obviously a great RB1 against the Jets.

Theo Riddick catches touchdown in season opener.
Riddick had six receptions for 27 yards, including a seven-yard score. He also rushed once for a one-yard loss. Fantasy owners would like for Riddick to get more than seven touches (Ameer Abdullah had 18), but they can’t complain after he found the end zone. Detroit travels to New York to play the Giants on MNF next week.

David Johnson could miss “half the season or more” with wrist injury, according to Chris Mortensen.
Mortensen says the superstar back will have an MRI tomorrow to determine whether he will miss a few weeks or longer than that. This is obviously awful news for both the Cardinals and fantasy owners. Hopefully Johnson is able to get back on the field soon. We’ll update his status when there’s more information.

Delanie Walker leads Titans in receiving in Week 1.
Walker had seven receptions (on nine targets) for 76 yards against the Raiders. Despite the new weapons at receiver for Marcus Mariota, he’s still going to look Walker’s way this year. Walker has at least 50 yards or a touchdown in each of his last six games against the Jaguars, his Week 2 opponent.
