Join now >The Seahawks signed Trevone Boykin to their practice squad.
This was expected as Seattle seems like the best situation by far for Boykin, who lost the backup job to Austin Davis this preseason. Ideally, Russell Wilson and Austin Davis will remain healthy this season and Boykin won’t need to be promoted to the 53-man roster.

Javorius Allen carries 21 times in Week 1.
Allen played more than Terrance West, but it’s unclear if it’s because the game was a bit of a blowout in Baltimore’s favor. He had 21 carries for 71 yards, while West had 19 carries for 80 yards and a touchdown. There’s little question Allen will have a role with the Ravens, but it’s difficult to say how much of the backfield share he’ll take. Allen didn’t catch his lone target, but he might be the preferred passing back with Danny Woodhead (hamstring) likely out for a while. He’s worth a pickup on the waiver wire.

Odell Beckham Jr. will be a game-time decision, but the Giants have “real doubt whether he will play,” according to Adam Schefter.
Beckham was never revealed to have suffered a high-ankle sprain, so it would be a real surprise if he wasn’t out there tonight. We would bet on him playing, but fantasy owners should protect themselves with Brandon Marshall or Sterling Shepard if they can. Evan Engram is also a decent option if you can put Beckham in your FLEX spot.

Jesse James scores twice in season opener.
James caught six passes for 41 yards against the Browns, including two touchdowns inside the five-yard line. People got excited about newly-acquired tight end Vance McDonald, but James already has chemistry with Ben Roethlisberger and is the preferred fantasy option for at least the early part of the season. He gets the Vikings next Sunday.

Jeremy Langford signed with Baltimore’s practice squad, according to Adam Schefter.
The 2015 fourth-round pick and former starting running back in Chicago unsurprisingly wasn’t without a job for long. Langford joins recently-released former Seahawks running back Alex Collins on the practice squad for the Ravens, who have a deep group of running backs in their program.

Terrance West scores in Ravens’ Week 1 win.
West carried 19 times for 80 yards and a touchdown against the Bengals. Danny Woodhead went down with a hamstring injury, but Javorius Allen actually led the team with 21 carries in the game. Perhaps it was because the Ravens pretty much had the game in hand, but Allen could be a major threat to West’s workload. The good news is the Ravens ran the ball 42 times in the game and appear poised to pound the rock this season to help out their top defense. Baltimore plays Cleveland in Week 2, and West should be a fine FLEX option.

Jamison Crowder (hip) is expected to play against the Eagles, according to Adam Schefter.
Crowder was expected to play all along, but it’s good to hear this anyway. He’s a low-end WR2 in PPR leagues against a weak Philly secondary, though the Eagles did hold him in check last year.
