Join now >The Titans placed Harry Douglas on IR.
Douglas has a knee injury and the team decided to place him on Injured Reserve. The veteran receiver should still be a mentor to the young guys like Corey Davis and Taywan Taylor.

T.J. Yeldon (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 1.
The Jaguars play in the early 1:00 PM ET games, so fantasy owners will know whether he’s in or out by 11:30 AM ET. The Jags may opt to just hold out Yeldon, but if he does play he’s too risky to be in your fantasy lineup.

The Bills have released running back Jonathan Williams.
This is as big as surprise as any, as Williams looked good this preseason and is just 23-year-old, but Buffalo is going with Mike Tolbert as the number-two behind LeSean McCoy. This should lock McCoy into a monster workload, even on a team that doesn’t expect to contend.

Albert Wilson catches all five targets against the Patriots.
Wilson worked behind Tyreek Hill and Chris Conley as the team’s number three receiver. The Chiefs tried to get the ball in Wilson’s hands a few times, and he had five receptions for 37 yards. He and the Chiefs get the Eagles next week.

Dion Lewis gets two carries in Week 1.
Lewis was listed as the starter for the Patriots according to NBC’s lineup introduction, but he didn’t get a ton of time in the game. He was the kick returner for the Pats and added two carries for nine yards on offense. James White, who had 13 touches in the game, looks like he’ll be the much more consistent fantasy option this season.

Devonta Freeman scores in Falcons’ Week 1 win.
Freeman carried 12 times for 37 yards and a touchdown against the Bears, while adding two receptions for two yards. Chicago’s front seven is very strong, and they did their best to limit Atlanta’s groin attack to 64 yards on 23 attempts. The touchdown certainly helped Freeman’s fantasy output, and he’ll look to do more damage against the Packers next Sunday night, though it’s not an easy matchup.
9/11/17 - 10:32 AM ET
The Colts claimed former Redskins running back Matt Jones.
This is a great acquisition for the Colts, who now have a very deep running back group. Jones is an extremely talented former third-round pick in 2015 that fell out of favor in Washington because of fumbling issues last season. The big back that former Redskins GM Scot McCloughan called the most talented back with the Redskins will fill in behind Frank Gore in Indy’s backfield along with rookie Marlon Mack and Robert Turbin.
