Shady had 22 carries for 110 yards and five receptions for 49 yards in the Week 1 win for the Bills. He looked about as good as he normally does and could’ve had a bigger day if not for one-yard touchdowns from Mike Tolbert, Charles Clay, and Andre Holmes. Still, McCoy will be among the league leaders in touches and yards for running backs this season, and he’s a great RB1 every week in both standard and PPR leagues.

Undrafted TE Jacob Hollister made the Patriots final roster.
The undrafted rookie from Wyoming had a great preseason showing and beat out James O’Shaughnessy to win the third tight end spot behind Rob Gronkowski and Dwayne Allen in New England. The only bad news for Hollister is that his twin brother, Cody, did not make the team. It’d be cool if Cody joined his brother as a member of New England’s practice squad, something that reportedly will happen if he clears waivers. Jacob probably won’t have much fantasy value at all this season, but he’ll be a contributor for the Patriots.

Cody Hollister did not make New England’s final roster.
The undrafted rookie receiver just missed the cut for the Patriots, and he’s someone they’ll almost certainly like to get on the practice squad. Meanwhile, his twin brother Jacob (a tight end) made the final roster for the Patriots, so it’s a bittersweet moment for the Hollister family.

The Patriots cut TE James O’Shaughnessy.
New England acquired O’Shaughnessy from Kansas City in the offseason, but the tight end and special teams contributor didn’t make the team. Undrafted rookie Jacob Hollister is a great story that made the team and will be the third tight end for the Patriots this season.

Austin Carr did not make the Patriots’ 53-man roster.
The undrafted receiver out of Northwestern impressed this preseason, but could quite crack the final roster. New England’s acquisition of Phillip Dorsett today certainly didn’t help things. Carr is very likely someone the Patriots would like to get through waivers and on to the practice squad.

The Chargers cut quarterback Kellen Clemens.
Talented second-year quarterback Cardale Jones, who was acquired form Buffalo during the preseason, is currently the backup behind Philip Rivers. According to reports, the Chargers could be bringing Clemens back soon, though.

The Vikings cut receiver Cayleb Jones.
Jones put up a heck of a final impression in the Vikings’ final preseason game, but it was difficult to crack a receiving group that included two rookies (Stacy Coley from Miami and Rodney Adams from South Florida). He’s still only 24-years-old and will find other teams interested in signing him or bringing them on their practice squad.
