He picked up 27 yards on his eight carries and couldn’t get much going other than his long of 14 yards. Gallman did also have a five-yard reception in the exhibition versus the Patriots. While the rookie certainly has all-around ability, it appears he’ll be fourth on the depth chart to open his rookie season. He’s a strong bench player in dynasty leagues, but might not make a fantasy impact in 2017.

Jakeem Grant caught four passes for 141 yards and one touchdown in the Dolphins’ preseason finale.
The highlight was a 65-yard score in the second quarter, as he simply ran past the corner and safety on a go route down the right sideline. He will make some big plays, but the re-signing of Kenny Stills in the offseason hurt any chances of Grant being a fantasy factor to start 2017.

Orleans Darkwa plays in Giants’ fourth preseason game.
Darkwa carried six times for 40 yards and had a nine-yard reception. It looks like he’ll be the primary backup behind Paul Perkins, but he could get some carries at the goal line for the Giants this season. Darkwa is just a late-round flier right now, though.

Kenyan Drake scores goal-line touchdown in preseason finale.
Drake rushed eight times for 27 yards, including a one-yard score in the first quarter. He looks like the third running back behind Damien Williams and workhorse Jay Ajayi, so he should only be rostered in dynasty leagues right now.
9/1/17 - 11:18 AM ET
Shaun Draughn plays well in Giants’ fourth preseason game.
Draughn carried 14 times for 54 yards and a touchdown while adding two receptions for 25 yards. Draughn consistently picked up positive yardage on his carries, but he looks like he won’t make the Giants’ roster unless they keep five running backs. Cuts are Saturday at 4:00 PM ET, so we’ll see.
9/1/17 - 11:16 AM ET
Jeremy McNichols struggles in preseason finale.
Anyone who watches ‘Hard Knocks’ knows that he blew a blocking assignment last week, and he did the same against Washington. Statistically, he rushed ten times for 36 yards and didn’t catch a pass. A fifth-round pick, McNichols’ roster spot isn’t guaranteed, and he doesn’t look like a fantasy contributor even if he makes the team.

Davis Webb plays in Giants’ fourth preseason game.
The rookie from Cal was 8/14 for 103 yards in his final preseason action of 2017 (he threw 34 passes total in three games played). The Giants are basically redshirting Webb, who will be behind Eli Manning and Geno Smith or Josh Johnson this season and might be inactive on game days.
