Jacquizz Rodgers gets the start in Bucs’ third preseason game

Rodgers rushed 10 times for 34 yards and caught a 17-yard pass. Tampa Bay likely did this to get the offense ready for the regular season without Doug Martin (whom came in later and had four touches), as Martin is fully expected to be the starter when he’s back from his three-game suspension. Anyone hoping to draft Rodgers as a 16-game starter will likely be disappointed.

Winston was 17/27 for 200 yards and one interception in the Bucs’ third preseason game.

Jameis was playing without Mike Evans and DeSean Jackson, but it was still a sub-par performance for the former first-overall pick. He chucked another bad interception, and for all his talent, Winston will continue to hold the team back if he doesn’t correct his careless play. Unfortunately, it seems like a part of him since his time at Florida State. Currently being drafted as a QB1 in the eighth round of fantasy drafts, we think Winston is more of a streaming option, though he does have a good couple weeks to start the season before a rough four-game stretch.

Donte Moncrief catches one pass for 55 yards in Colts’ third preseason game.

Moncrief caught a post route from Scott Tolzien and immediately broke two tackles before running for a 55-yard gain. It was Moncrief’s only target of the game. Andrew Luck being healthy for Week 1 would help, but Moncrief has some solid upside if he can stay healthy in 2017.

Chester Rogers is still out with a hamstring injury

Rogers did not play in the Colts’ third preseason game, and he’s been out a couple weeks now. He’s falling behind Phillip Dorsett for the number three receiver job. His roster spot is safe, but hopefully Rogers can get back out there soon.

Njoku caught one pass for 12 yards on Saturday night.

The talented rookie is a great target in dynasty leagues, but he doesn’t look like a fantasy contributor in 2017. Njoku just turned 21 last month, and he has a sky-high ceiling—you just shouldn’t spend a draft pick on him in redraft leagues.

Phillip Dorsett leads the Colts in receiving in Week 3 of the preseason.

Dorsett caught three-of-four targets for 60 yards in a performance he needed. The third-year receiver showed his speed and also went up to get a ball on a go route. With Chester Rogers still out with a hamstring injury, the former first-rounder Dorsett appears to be in a good position for a starting role next to T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief.

Jordan Leslie catches game-winning touchdown in Browns’ third preseason game.

It was a five-yard reception in the fourth quarter, and he finished with four catches for 34 yards. Leslie is battling for a roster spot, and this should help his cause heading into the preseason finale on Thursday night.
