A-Rob had two receptions for 50 yards total in the exhibition against the Panthers. The 37-yard reception came on a go route where Chad Henne made a nice throw to beat the safety. While he did have a monster 2015 season with Blake Bortles at quarterback, he might be better off with Henne at this point. As a very talented player, Robinson should have a bounce back season and be solid fantasy option this season, though his quarterback situation could become frustrating if the Jaguars have a tough time offensively. He’s currently going just inside the top 20 receivers in fantasy drafts.

Chris Ivory scores in Week 3 of the preseason.
Ivory had ten carries for 36 yards and a one-yard touchdown in the exhibition against Carolina. He also had a six-yard reception. Converting at the goal line is a big positive for Ivory, who’s trying to at least be a goal line option for the Jaguars even with rookie Leonard Fournette in the backfield. Ivory is not getting drafted in fantasy leagues at this point, however, with most expecting Fournette to take most of the work for Jacksonville.

Chad Henne leads one touchdown drive in one half of Week 3 preseason game.
The veteran quarterback drew the start as Jacksonville tries to determine their starter to open the regular season. Henne was 8/14 for 73 yards along with a 14-yard carry in his half of play. The touchdown drive was a nine-play, 80-yard one that ended with a Chris Ivory touchdown run. Henne didn’t make any big mistakes, which is a positive. This quarterback competition could go down to Week 4 of the preseason and the starter could remain a secret until the Jags take the field in Week 1, but Henne is probably in the lead based off him starting the third preseason game.

Kelvin Benjamin catches touchdown from Cam Newton in Week 3 of the preseason.
It was Newton’s first preseason action this year as he worked through shoulder soreness, and he ended his only series by hitting Benjamin with a nine-yard slant for a touchdown. Benjamin had four receptions for 36 yards and the touchdown in the game. He looks very good so far this preseason, looking sharp and plucking the ball our of the air using all hands. Benjamin is going around 50 overall in fantasy drafts, and his scoring output will likely determine whether he lives up to that slot.

Cameron Artis-Payne scores twice in third preseason game.
Artis-Payne again ran with a lot of energy and burst this week, and he looked fast. He had nine carries for 37 yards and the two touchdowns in the exhibition against Jacksonville. CAP will mix in behind Jonathan Stewart and Christian McCaffrey this season.

Donnel Pumphrey shows receiving ability in Week 3 of the preseason.
Pumphrey got his most extensive playing time in his third preseason game, carrying 12 times for 37 yards and adding five receptions for 37 yards. Though huge holes weren’t opened up for him, Pumphrey didn’t do much at all on the ground. Pumphrey did also fumble a punt, but he quickly recovered it. Despite being drafted in the fourth round, he’s in danger of not making the final roster for the Eagles, especially with undrafted rookie back Corey Clement playing very well. Pumphrey have a chance to make another case next Thursday in the team’s final preseason game.

Blake Bortles was 12/16 for 125 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in relief of Chad Henne on Thursday night.
Bortles had almost the entire second half to try to regain his starting job heading into the regular season, and he performed fairly well. The interception was a throw into tight coverage that the defender made a good play on, and the touchdown was a goal line fade to a wide-open Shane Wynn that would have tied the game at 24 following the extra point, but the Jags went for two because it’s the preseason; Bortles threw an interception on a jump ball for the conversion try. Chas Henne failed to impress outside of a couple nice throws, so Bortles could end up as the starter for Week 1 after he looked more comfortable, stepped up in the pocket, and displayed improved accuracy. The competition could very well go into the fourth pore season game.
