Join now >Thomas Rawls works as clear lead back for the Seahawks in first preseason game.
Rawls, who had two carries for five yards, received every snap except for one (C.J. Prosise on a third down) in the only opening drive for the starters. Meanwhile, Eddie Lacy came in on the second series and played longer than Rawls. Despite many claiming Lacy would be the starter for the Seahawks, it looks it’s definitely going to be Rawls, which shouldn’t be a surprise. Remember: Rawls averaged 5.6 yards per carry as an undrafted rookie and has the look of an elite runner during that season. His ADP is likely going to rise in the coming weeks as people catch up with him being the lead guy for the Seahawks.

Delanie Walker catches four-yard touchdown in Week 2 of the preseason.
The Titans tight end made a nice diving catch in the end zone when he ran a corner route against a zone coverage and Marcus Mariota put it out there for him to go get. It was Walker’s only reception of the day, but he only played a couple of series in the game. Walker should definitely be a safe TE1 option (and one with good upside) in your fantasy draft.

Russell Wilson plays one series in Seahawks’ preseason opener.
Wilson was 3/4 for 41 yards and had one carry for five yards. The great news is that Wilson is 100% healthy right now after battling injuries all throughout the 2016 season. Wilson will probably play more this Friday versus the tough Vikings defense in Week 2 of the preseason.

Jonathan Stewart carries four times for eight yards in preseason game.
Stewart started the Week 2 preseason game, but rookie Christian McCaffrey (three carries for 33 yards and a touchdown, and two receptions for 39 yards) was very impressive again. McCaffrey caps Stewart’s upside, but the veteran running back can still be a fantasy contributor in 2017, especially if Carolina’s offense improves from their subpar 2016.

Jim Irsay doesn’t guarantee Andrew Luck will be ready for Week 1.
Irsay spoke after the Colts’ preseason game today and said Luck’s progression “could not be better,” but the Colts owner added Luck could miss one game or two. People are taking Irsay’s noncommital as if it means Luck won’t be ready for Week 1, but the Colts have made it clear they will be patient about this the entire time. The season isn’t for about another month, so they aren’t making guarantees or rushing things. Given Luck’s apparent progress and regaining of strength, we would say chances are better that he plays Week 1 than he doesn’t.

Kelvin Benjamin catches both targets in exhibition against Tennessee.
The big Panthers receiver had 31 yards on his two receptions. His weight and conditioning don’t seem to be much of an issue at this point. We’ll see if Benjamin’s quarterback Cam Newton can get out there for the team’s third preseason game.

Rookie QB Phillip Walker plays in first NFL preseason game for the Colts.
Walker is an undrafted free agent from Temple, but he’s reportedly been impressive in training camp. He went 9/20 for 86 yards along with two carries for 11 yards. Walker clearly has tools, as he has a strong arm, intelligence, good mobility, and a quick release. He might be able to stick around on the team’s final roster, but if not he’s definitely a practice squad candidate.
