Amara Darboh leaves preseason game against the Vikings with a possible concussion.

The third-round rookie receiver from Michigan will now need to get cleared from concussion protocol. He was targeted once but had no catches before he left the game.

T.J. Jones catches one pass in Week 1 of the preseason.

Jones worked as the third receiver for the Lions, catching a 22-yard pass from Matthew Stafford on the opening drive of the game. The problem (for Jones, at least) is rookie receiver went off for two touchdowns and looks poised to seize the number three receiver role in the offense. Still, Jones will contribute for the Lions.

Kasen Williams flashes with first team in Seahawks’ second preseason game.

With Paul Richardson and Tyler Lockett both out, the Seahawks gave Williams an opportunity with the starters and he made the most of it, catching two passes for 28 yards and a touchdown. On his first reception, Williams came up with a great one-handed catch on a go route down the left sideline. Later in the drive, Williams caught a fade in the end zone to cap Seattle’s opening drive against the Vikings. The former high jumper is almost certainly going to make the final roster and he could get a good amount of playing time this season.

Ameer Abdullah plays a few snaps in preseason opener for the Lions.

Abdullah had one carry for two yards and one reception for 14 yards. On the reception, Abdullah caught the ball in the flat then made a man miss before darting for 14 yards. He’s the clear lead back in Detroit, and the talk from the team has been they want to get Abdullah 200+ carries this season. It’s good to see Abdullah in game action and healthy after missing almost the entire season with a foot injury in 2016.

Doug Baldwin leads Seahawks in receiving in exhibition against Minnesota.

Baldwin caught all four targets from Russell Wilson, gaining 69 yards in under a half of play. The 28-year-old receiver looked as good as ever, showing his quickness and route running from the slot. Baldwin should offer a high floor, but he might be going too high in fantasy drafts as a current top-30 pick.

Zach Zenner carries six times for 26 yards in preseason game against Indy.

He also had one reception for three yards. Zenner appears in the lead to get the most carries behind Ameer Abdullah, but Dwayne Washington is also in the mix.

Eddie Lacy starts in exhibition game against the Vikings.

With Thomas Rawls and C.J. Prosise out, Lacy started the game and split work the first-team work with rookie Chris Carson. Lacy had six carries for 20 yards and one reception for three yards. The veteran back looked OK, but considering rookie Chris Carson outplayed him, Lacy probably didn’t do anything to take the lead role from Rawls. Ideally, we’ll see all of Seattle’s running backs in the third preseason game and maybe see who gets opportunities at the goal line—something Lacy might be the number one option there in a potentially top offense.
