Join now >Cardinals play David Johnson in team’s second preseason game.
DJ didn’t play in the Hall of Fame Game, but the team decided to put him out there for Week 1 of the preseason versus Oakland. The workhorse back had three carries for 16 yards in the game. Johnson, who took up yoga this offseason, looks like he might be lighter and quicker in 2017—a potentially scary sight for defenses. If you’re drafting early, you should feel good about drafting Johnson with your first pick.

Dede Westbrook puts up huge numbers in second preseason game.
The Jaguars rookie receiver had six receptions on seven targets for 131 yards against the Buccaneers. He put up a stat line and showed some of the ability that made him a Heisman finalist during his time at Oklahoma, getting behind the defense and making tough catches. If Westbrook keeps his head on straight (he reportedly dropped in the draft because of character concerns), the Jaguars could end up with a steal. Westbrook might make an impact as a rookie this season for re-draft leagues, and he’s obviously someone to roster in dynasty leagues.

Trevor Knight doesn’t throw a pass in preseason game versus Oakland.
The rookie out of Texas A&M just came in the game to run a QB kneel. Hopefully Knight gets some time in the next couple of games, but if not then perhaps he will get a good amount of playing time in the final preseason game.

Tyler Lockett isn’t playing in Seattle’s Week 2 preseason game against the Vikings.
Lockett has been practicing for about two weeks after being removed from the PUP, but the Seahawks aren’t rushing him as he is coming back from a broken leg in Week 16 of last season. Fellow receiver Paul Richardson, who also practiced during the week, also isn’t playing after he hurt his shoulder in last Sunday’s preseason game against the Chargers.

Cardinals put Kerwynn Williams at returner in preseason game.
After rookie running back T.J. Logan broke his wrist, the team is looking for a returner. Williams returned one kick for 35 yards and one punt for 13 yards. He also had two carries for seven yards on offense, but did have one fumble in the game. It looks like Williams could be Arizona’s primary returner in 2017.

Humphries caught five passes for 42 yards in last night’s win over the Jaguars.
With the starters playing the entire first half and throwing it a whopping 29 times, Humphries tied Mike Evans for the team-high in catches. It looks like the 24-year-old has a good hold on the slot receiver job, but he will struggle to find fantasy value on a loaded offense, especially if the team finds ways to get impressive rookie Chris Godwin snaps.

Andre Ellington gets 11 touches in Week 1 of the preseason.
Ellington had seven carries for 20 yards and four receptions for 31 yards, with his longest rush going for 15 yards and his longest reception going for 13 yards. Ellington is probably battling for a roster spot, but he’s doing well so far this preseason.
