Corey Clement impresses again in win over Bills.

Clement rushed eight times for 34 yards and one touchdown, adding two catches for six yards. The Wisconsin product also picked up a blitz, showing his all-around game. Despite being undrafted in the spring, Clement played ahead of fellow rookie Donnel Pumphrey, whom the team traded up to select in the fourth round. With Wendell Smallwood (hamstring) out for both preseason games so far, Clement has taken the opportunity and run with it, which could earn a roster spot behind LeGarrette Blount and Darren Sproles.

Charles Clay caught three passes for 16 yards in Thursday night’s exhibition.

Clay had a nice stretch at the end of 2017, but even with Sammy Watkins now gone, he probably won’t be a tight end worth targeting in fantasy drafts. The Bills play Baltimore next preseason game.

Hillman sees just one carry in preseason game.

It went for zero yards, but he did catch two passes for 15 yards. Hillman’s chances of making the roster seem to be fairly high as a receiving back behind Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris early in the season with Ezekiel Elliott suspended. It shouldn’t lead to much fantasy value.

McFadden rushed six times for 28 yards and caught an eight-yard pass in Saturday night’s game against the Rams.

Getting the start for Ezekiel Elliott, McFadden looked pretty good, despite Dallas missing most of their first-team offensive line and Dak Prescott. Turning 30 in a couple weeks, McFadden has RB1 potential early on with Elliott suspended for the first six weeks of the regular season. His ADP might get a little out of control to be worth it, though.

Christian Hackenberg plays efficient in Week 1 of the preseason.

The second-year quarterback from Penn State was 18/25 for 127 yards, one touchdowns, and no interceptions against the Titans. He played after starter Josh McCown and is clearly the number two quarterback for the Jets. People/the media have been unfair to Hackenberg, and he definitely has tools to work with. Hackenberg did fumble twice (and lose one) in the game.

Khalfani Muhammad gets limited work in preseason opener for the Titans.

The seventh-round rookie did not enter the game until late and had one carry for three yards and two receptions for 11 yards. He’s probably on the roster bubble, so he’s probably hoping for more work in the next three preseason games.

Jacquizz Rodgers rushed three times for four yards in Thursday night’s preseason game.

Rodgers also caught a two-yard pass. Some in the fantasy community are convinced that Jacquizz could take the full-time starting job while Doug Martin is suspended, but we don’t see any way that will be the case. Currently going in the 14th round of fantasy drafts, Rodgers is going about where he should.
