The Bears starter was 2/8 for 20 yards and an interception. On the interception, Glennon was drilled as he threw it—they were playing the Broncos, so it wasn’t easy on the Bears. Meanwhile, rookie Mitchell Trubisky lit it up when he entered the game at the end of the second quarter. People are clamoring for a quarterback controversy, but that probably won’t happen until Trubisky starts getting first-team reps (he’s been with the third team).

Carlos Henderson has quiet first preseason game.
The rookie out of Louisiana Tech had one reception for seven yards. He’ll look to make more of an impact in the next couple of preseason games. He and fellow rookie speedster Isaiah McKenzie are both looking to be the number three receiver for Denver this season.

Michael Campanaro caught one pass for 10 yards in Thursday night’s exhibition.
Campanaro isn’t projected to play much in the regular season if the top three receivers are all healthy, but he provides good depth for Baltimore. Even if he does find his way into three-WR sets, Danny Woodhead could take away some of his would-be fantasy value.

Demaryius Thomas catches one pass in limited action in first preseason game.
Thomas’ catch was for 11 yards. DT should be set for another good season, as he has one of the highest floors in fantasy football.

Corey Grant breaks long touchdown run in preseason against NE.
Grant had eight carries for 120 yards, including a 79-yard touchdown where he ran up the middle then got to the second level and showed his breakaway speed. Grant impressed with a 57-yard touchdown during the regular season last year, but the Jaguars running back group is very crowded in front of him.

Cody Latimer leads the Broncos in receiving in Week 1 of the preseason.
Latimer had seven catches for 54 yards. The former second-round pick showed toughness over the middle, not shying away from contact and making catches. He likely knows he’s fighting for a spot on the roster, and he had a good start in the first preseason game.

Bobby Rainey rushed four times for 12 yards in Thursday night’s preseason opener.
Rainey is battling for a role behind Terrance West and Danny Woodhead in the Ravens backfield. He has just 22 carries over the past two seasons with the Bucs and Giants, so Rainey isn’t expected to be a fantasy contributor in 2017 if he makes the team.
