Join now >Mack Hollins scores in his first preseason game.
The rookie from North Carolina had four receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown came from Carson Wentz with the first-team offense on the Eagles’ opening drive. He caught a pass over the middle, ran to and up the sideline, and stiff-armed a couple of defenders on his way to the end zone. Hollins basically has a roster spot locked up as a core special teamer, but he’s also an intriguing prospect in dynasty leagues at 6’4″ with very good speed.

Bryce Treggs lead Eagles in receiving in first preseason game.
The second-year receiver from Cal had seven receptions for 91 yards, including a 38-yard catch. Treggs is in a battle for a roster spot, but tonight was a good preseason start for him.

Carson Wentz looks Jordan Matthews’ way in opening preseason game.
Matthews had three receptions for 18 yards in one series with Wentz. It’s obvious Wentz is comfortable looking for and throwing to Matthews, which should keep him in the starting lineup as the primary slot receiver for Philadelphia. You should try to wait to draft your fantasy team, but Matthews looks like he should be a decent option later in fantasy drafts.

Nelson Agholor starts in Eagles preseason game.
Alshon Jeffery didn’t play in the game, and it was Agholor, Torrey Smith, and Jordan Matthews as the top three receivers. Agholor came in motion and received an end around, but didn’t receive good blocking and could only get back to the line of scrimmage. His lone target came on a two-point conversion that was fired a bit high and went off hands, but it was a very difficult catch. We’ll see if Agholor is among the starters when Jeffery hits the field.

Cadet rushed six times for 13 yards and caught an 11-yard pass in Thursday night’s preseason game.
Competing for a roster spot behind Mark Ingram, Adrian Peterson, and Alvin Kamara, the receiving back probably needs to make more out of his touches next week versus the Chargers.

Matt McGloin gets a ton of playing time in Week 1 preseason game.
McGloin played from the middle of the first quarter to deep in the second half. He was 28/42 for 205 yards and an interception. Nick Foles is dealing with a minor injury but is expected to be the primary backup to Carson Wentz. McGloin should be the third quarterback, though, and he’s another person to help Wentz during his second season.

Alvin Kamara got the start in Thursday night’s preseason opener.
The Saints rested both Mark Ingram and Adrian Peterson, so Kamara was able to play with the first-team offense, though they didn’t have Drew Brees, either. The rookie looked good, rushing four times for 35 yards, including a 22-yard rush. While he will struggle to have consistent fantasy value in 2017, Sean Payton will find ways to get his versatile back on the field.
