Williams had four carries for 39 yards, including a 17-yard run. The second-year back ran hard as he looks to lock up the number two running back job behind LeSean McCoy the Bills.

Tyrod Taylor was 5/8 for 46 yards against Minnesota in Week 1 of the preseason.
Taylor looked Sammy Watkins’ way early and often, throwing four of his five completions to his number one receiver. Taylor and Buffalo will head down to Philadelphia for Week 2 of the preseason a week from tonight.

Laquon Treadwell did not play in the Vikings’ first preseason game.
Treadwell is dealing with a thigh injury and has been out of practice for over a week, according to the Pioneer Press. Hopefully Treadwell can get healthy and be back on the field soon, as he’s expected to be one of Minnesota’s top three receivers this year.

Stefon Diggs had one reception for five yards in Week 1 of the preseason.
Minnesota’s offense struggled big time on the offensive line and they couldn’t get much going. Diggs will get to go against the vaunted Seattle defense next week as the starters should get more time in the second preseason game.

Dalvin Cook gets nine touches in preseason debut.
The rookie from Florida State had five carries for 13 yards and four receptions for 30 yards. There wasn’t much room for him to run against the Bills, but he was reliable as a receiver and the Vikings threw a couple of designed screens to him to get the ball in his hands. Latavius Murray and Jerick McKinnon did not play in this game, but they should be good to go next Friday against Seattle in Week 2 of the preseason; we’ll know more about how much work Cook will get then.

Vikings offensive line struggles in opening preseason game.
Quarterback Sam Bradford was 5/7 for 35 yards and was sacked twice in under a quarter of play. The offensive line was the big issue with this team last year, and the Vikings will struggle to emerge as an elite team in the NFC if they do not improve in that area. If Bradford gets time to throw, he’s among the most lethal passers in the NFL and could become a solid fantasy option. Minnesota’s offensive line is one of the biggest things to watch for the rest of the preseason.

Many of the Ravens starters will not play in tonight’s first preseason game.
Breshad Perriman is dealing with a leg/hamstring injury and has missed over a week of practice, so he’s obviously out for the game. But Jeremy Maclin, Mike Wallace, Danny Woodhead, and Benjamin Watson are also not playing in the game. The Ravens have suffered enough injuries already, so it’s not surprising to hear this.
