Join now >Dave Spadaro of the Eagles’ official website says Nelson Agholor looks “completely different” this season.
Spadaro writes that Agholor has been “outstanding” throughout about a week of training camp and “180 degrees different” than he was at the end of last season. The 2015 first-round pick has been getting rave reviews all spring and summer, and it’s not a surprise. Anyone that’s watched Agholor knows he just struggled mentally with a drops issue and needed to get out of his own head, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise. Agholor has elite acceleration, along with great speed and route running ability—his only issue has been confidence, probably because he was trying too hard. With a clearer head and less pressure on himself, Agholor is the favorite to be the number two receiver behind Alshon Jeffery. Don’t be surprised if he becomes one of the better receivers in the NFL quickly.

Adrian Peterson says on SiriusXM NFL Radio that he’d like to play five more years.
“God willing, I would like to play five more years and win a few Super Bowls in the midst of it,” Peterson said. If someone could play until 37 as a running back, it’s “All Day”. Peterson’s work ethic is legendary, and he looks like he’s in his 20’s, according to teammates. Peterson is 6,608 yards away from Emmitt Smith’s all-time record 18,355 career rushing yards, which has been a goal of his—maybe he thinks he can reach that mark in the next five seasons after suspension and injury derailed his last few seasons, but winning is the most important thing for Peterson at this point in his career. The Saints backfield situation and how the playing time will be split up is something to watch this preseason.

Anquan Boldin is signing with the Bills, according to Peter Schrager.
It’s a one-year deal, according to Schrager. Boldin will bring veteran leadership to Buffalo, and he’ll look to emerge as one of the team’s top three receivers behind number one Sammy Watkins. Boldin scored eight touchdowns last season in Detroit and could emerge as a viable fantasy bench option if he becomes the Bills’ number two option in the passing game this season. Although, the Bills are a team that is going to run the football, so it’s probably more likely Boldin doesn’t deliver much fantasy value.

Jay Cutler is “leaning toward” coming out of retirement to play for the Dolphins, according to Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport reports the Dolphins are waiting on Cutler’s call, so it sounds like it’s up to Cutler at this point. Dolphins head coach Adam Gase has been “persistent” and that “it’s working,” according to Rapoport. Cutler could be waiting until the Dolphins and Tannehill make a final decision on whether he will get season-ending surgery on his knee, as Cutler won’t leave his job at FOX as a member of the number two broadcast team if it’s for a temporary starting job with Miami.

Lions running back coach David Walker says “Ameer’s our guy.”
Walker went on to say, “Theo has his role, and then the other guys, they got to kind of fit where they fit and that’s how we’ll go.” Abdullah has been unable to stay healthy through two seasons, but these comments are a great sign for his fantasy outlook in 2017. The former second-round pick was someone the Arizona Cardinals actually targeted instead of David Johnson, and Abdullah definitely has the talent to put together a strong campaign if he can stay on the field. If he’s able to earn goal line carries, Abdullah could be a high-end RB2.

Fake news alert: Ravens deny ESPN report regarding Colin Kaepernick.
ESPN’s Dianna Russini put out a report earlier today that Ravens head coach John Harbaugh and GM Ozzie Newsome want to sign Kaepernick, but have “met resistance” from owner Steve Bisciotti. The Ravens put out a statement by Newsome in response to the report: “We are going through a process, and have not made a decision. Steve Bisciotti has not told us we cannot sign Colin Kaepernick, nor has he blocked the move. Whoever is making these claims is wrong.” It’s not a surprise ESPN has put out fake news regarding the situation, considering some of their so-called journalists have been vocal in demanding a team sign Kaepernick, and the company has clearly moved far away from fair and balanced coverage over the last few years.

Dalvin Cook is listed as the Vikings’ starting running back on the first unofficial depth chart.
As you might know, unofficial depth charts are sometimes just made by the team’s PR staff with no input from the coaches. But Dalvin Cook has been getting most of the first-team reps on offense and is listed above Jerick McKinnon, who is entering his fourth season with the team. Latavius Murray, who is still on the PUP, is not listed on the depth chart. Cook has a chance to really separate himself if he plays lights out with the starters in Week 1 of the preseason.
