Join now >Greg Roman says he is "very excited about Terrance West."
Roman was fired as offensive coordinator of the Bills last season and is now a senior offensive assistant with Baltimore, and he is sure to bring some new run-play concepts to his new team. Talking about West, Roman also said, "I'm looking forward to him toting the rock this year." Kenneth Dixon is serving a four-game suspension to start the season, so West will be the early-down runner with Danny Woodhead as the passing-down option early on. If he gets off to a hot start, West could take the job and run away with it, making him an intriguing option in the mid-to-late rounds of fantasy drafts this summer.

Browns receiver Ricardo Louis is "a different guy" this year.
Receviers coach Al Saunders said he looked back at Louis' film from last year's OTAs when he was a rookie and found it "funny" how different he is this season. Saunders says this year Louis is lining up, recognizing the defense, then going "100 miles per hour." Head coach Hue Jackson says the second-year receiver "has really improved" from last season. Louis was a fourth-rounder in the draft last year, and college football fans will remember him from his days at Auburn, including his miracle game-winning catch off a tipped ball on fourth-and-18 with under 30 seconds to go versus Georgia. He might be able to work his way into a top option for the Browns this season. Kenny Britt and Corey Coleman are likely the top two receivers right now, but Coleman missed some of offseason training with an injury.

Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said he thinks Latavius Murray (ankle) should be ready around the start of training camp.
Murray got surgery on his injured ankle this offseason, so he hasn't been able to see the field with his new team yet. His absence shouldn't be that big of a deal as long as Murray is staying in the playbook during his recovery, but Dalvin Cook will obviously be at an advantage for touches if Latavius misses too much time. Murray could be a steal at his current ADP if he gets healthy.

It’s official: Derek Carr, Raiders ink big contract extension.
Derek Carr announced it was done on his Twitter page. Adam Schefter reported this was going to get done, and it’s done. According to Ian Rapoport, it's a five-year, $125 million contract, the biggest in the history of the league, so the 2014 second round pick is getting quite the payday from the team that drafted him. Carr has consistently progressed into one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, and the Raiders rewarded him for it and keep him long-term. The focus can now shift entirely to the season, as Carr and the Raiders have Super Bowl aspirations. Carr is an excellent option as a late-round quarterback in 2017 fantasy drafts.

Andy Reid said there's a "pretty good chance" Travis Kelce is ready for training camp.
Kelce hasn't been participating in offseason activities after he underwent offseason shoulder surgery. It shouldn't be a problem for his regular season status, and it'd be great if he was ready for the start of training camp. Kelce is clearly a top three fantasy tight end.

Eric Ebron thinks the tight end additions will help him this season.
The Lions added former Cardinals tight end Darren Fells in free agency and Toledo tight end Michael Roberts in the fourth round of the draft. With the addition of Fells in particular, the Lions are expected to use more two-tight end sets, taking pressure of Ebron as a blocker. Of the additions and possibility of him being more of a receiver in two-tight end sets, Ebron said, "I think it's going to play a significant role for me to allow me to do the things that I'm best at," via the Detroit Free Press. Ebron has progressed each season in terms of receptions and yardage, but he had only one touchdown last season. He'll look to improve on those numbers again this season while bumping up his touchdown total and is worth a pick as a late-round TE.

Dennis Pitta hints that his career is over.
"I've dislocated my hip three times. I'm not delusional," Pitta said. It's a very unfortunate situation for Pitta, who needs to make sure he can be healthy for the rest of his life, as he's still a young man. A retirement announcement should be coming at some point.
