Join now >Titans receiver Tajae Sharpe suffered a foot injury last week and had surgery.
Sharpe is expected to be ready for training camp, despite the injury. The Titans made an effort to upgrade their receiving corps this offseason, so Sharpe will likely be in a tough battle for a full-time role in three wide receiver sets. The second year receiver had over 500 yards as a rookie last season.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins has been sober for 129 days and lost 25 pounds.
Seferian-Jenkins opened up about his struggles to ESPN. He says the Jets—who picked him up after the Buccaneers released him following a DUI arrest last fall—have stuck with him and been a huge help. Head coach Todd Bowles says ASJ is in "a good groove right now." Seferian-Jenkins was a second round pick by the Bucs in 2014, so the potential is there. It's good to see ASJ taking positive steps after his career was off the rails there.

DeMarco Murray underwent a procedure for a minor injury, head coach Mike Malarkey says.
Murray was in a cast, but will be out of it by Monday. The Titans' lead back is expected to be ready for training camp. He might give up more carries to stud second year back Derrick Henry, but Murray should still be a top ten RB in 2017.

Marshawn Lynch is participating in Raiders OTAs today.
This is the first time Lynch is participating after the Raiders were easing him in last week as he continued to learn the playbook. Lynch has reportedly kept in good shape during his retirement, but it's good to see him on the field. He should be in great shape and fresh for the season. Lynch is a good fit and will find some holes behind the powerful Raiders offensive line this year.

The Patriots and Julian Edelman are nearing a contract extension, according to Mike Garafolo.
Edelman is a very important part of the Patriots and it looks like he'll be rewarded for his contributions. He's currently in the last year of his deal, but it doesn't look like he'll get anywhere close to free agency as Garafolo says a deal is expected in the next couple days. It likely won't be very costly for New England, as Edelman is a guy that wants to be there and probably cares more about winning than making big bucks. Things can change, but he'll probably be a Patriot for his entire career.

Jonathan Stewart told ESPN he doesn't care about losing carries to Christian McCaffrey.
Stewart said, "Stop talking about that. Who cares?" when asked about how many carries he might lose to McCaffrey. Stewart made it clear it's about the team and winning a Super Bowl, which is a big positive for the team. Stewart has been in timeshares before, including a dynamic one with DeAngelo Williams, so there will be no issues with sharing the rock for Stewart. Adding McCaffrey might actually help Stewart stay fresher and do more damage with his carries.

The Packers say they need to get Randall Cobb the ball more.
Head coach Mike McCarthy says they wonder how they can get Cobb the ball "a couple more times a game." Receivers coach Luke Getsy he's an important part of the offense and they've "got to get him the ball." Cobb hasn't been as explosive of a player over the last two seasons, averaging less than 11 yards per catch after averaging at least 11.9 yards per catch in his first four seasons, but he has battled some injuries. The Packers slot man will get a lot of opportunities—with maybe some from the backfield, where he's shown ability to make plays—and has Aaron Rodgers as his quarterback, so he's not a bad pick in the middle of fantasy drafts.
