Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) has officially been ruled out for Week 12.

While McCaffrey was listed as questionable on the injury report yesterday, this was expected. McCaffrey will not be making the trip to Minnesota for tomorrow’s game. The Panthers have a Week 13 bye, and the All-Pro running back is expected to return for Week 14 and the start of the fantasy playoffs in most leagues if you were able to weather the storm and make it with McCaffrey playing in just three games this season.

Jonathan Taylor has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

The rumor is that Taylor was a close contact to someone with the virus, but nevertheless he’s ruled out for tomorrow’s Week 12 matchup against the Titans. Hopefully Taylor does not have COVID-19 and can return for Week 13 versus the Texans.

Auden Tate has been removed from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

The big receiver had enough negative tests and will rejoin his team ahead of tomorrow’s game against the Giants. It’s difficult to trust Tate as a fantasy option at the moment given the depth of the Bengals receiving corps.

Deebo Samuel (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday.

[UPDATE/CLARIFICATION: The Niners say Samuel is good to go for Sunday and has no injury designation.] Samuel was expected to be good coming off the bye, but the Niners did not practice enough for the team to feel good about taking him off the injury report. San Francisco kicks off in the late-afternoon window on Sunday, so be sure to have a backup plan from the later games if you want to use Deebo in your Week 12 fantasy lineup.

Tevin Coleman (knee) is questionable for Week 12.

[UPDATE/CORRECTION: Coleman has been ruled out for Week 12.] Coleman has a shot to play as the Niners come off the bye, but it might be difficult to trust the dynamic runner in a tough matchup with the Rams. We’d like to see Coleman on the field first before recommending him as a fantasy option, as he had to leave early in his return to the field a few weeks ago when re-aggravating his knee.

Kyler Murray is off the Week 12 injury report.

Murray is probably at less than 100% while dealing with his shoulder issue that popped up a couple of Thursdays ago, but the Cardinals aren’t even messing around to list him questionable on the final injury report. Murray will be out there this Sunday in Foxboro versus the Patriots.

Hayden Hurst (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Week 12.

Hurst missed practice time this week, and perhaps his ankle had an impact on him during the zero-catch performance last week against the Saints. Regardless, he’s looking like a game-time call and his status will fortunately be known by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday before any games kick off.
