Tua Tagovailoa (thumb) is officially questionable for Week 12.

The Dolphins want to see how Tua is doing on Sunday, so it’s likely going to be a game-time decision. We expect Tua will be fine after jamming his left throwing thumb on a helmet during practice on Wednesday, but his status will be official by 11:30 AM ET on Sunday.

Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) has officially been ruled out for Week 12.

Ahmed did not practice this week, so the Dolphins are ruling him out ahead of the weekend. It’s a tough break for a young player that was getting a nice opportunity leading the Miami backfield. Matt Breida gets a boost for this Sunday against the Jets and is immediately a solid fantasy option for Week 12.

Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) is officially listed as questionable for Week 12.

McCaffrey is not expected to play this week, but this indicates he does have a shot. It wouldn’t be a major shocker if the All-Pro forces his way into the lineup, but at the very least he’s looking great to return in Week 14 following Carolina’s bye. Check back in on Sunday morning to see if McCaffrey is a surprise activate for the Panthers.

Chris Conley (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday.

The Jaguars will also be without D.J. Chark (ribs), so Mike Glennon is in a tough spot as he makes his first start of the season without two lengthy weapons on the outside. Browns D/ST should be one of the safest plays of the week against the Jags for Week 12.

D.J. Chark (ribs) has officially been ruled out for Week 12.

Being ruled out ahead of the weekend indicates this could be a multi-week injury for Chark. It’s been a tough season for the one-win Jaguars as they look to get on the board with another victory.

Sam Darnold (shoulder) will start in Week 12.

Joe Flacco has played very well for New York, but the team is understandably going back to the former No. 3 overall pick now that he’s healthy, and the final six games could be important for evaluating him. Darnold isn’t a highly recommended fantasy option against a Miami team that shut out the Jets earlier this year.

John Brown (ankle) will not play in Week 12.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott just made the announcement on his weekly Friday radio appearance. This is disappointing coming off the bye, and Buffalo is clearly a stronger unit with Brown on the field. This will be Brown’s third missed game this season.
