Mecole Hardman has been activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Hardman will have a bigger role with Sammy Watkins (calf/hamstring) still out, and he’s a high-upside FLEX option for a potential shootout on Sunday night.

Sammy Watkins (calf/hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 11.

There was hope that Watkins would be back following the bye, but a calf issue on top of his lingering hamstring injury is keeping him out. This news boosts Mecole Hardman back up into high-upside FLEX range and makes Demarcus Robinson worth considering as a flier.

The Lions are promoting Mohamed Sanu from the practice squad, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Sanu could immediately have a sizeable role with Kenny Golladay (hip) and Danny Amendola (hip) both out, but Marvin Hall or rookie Quintez Cephus probably have more upside as fliers.

The Bengals placed Joe Mixon (foot) on injured reserve.

Including tomorrow (for which he was already ruled out) Mixon will now miss at least three more games with his foot issue. For what was though to be a minor issue when the injury first occurred, this has to be frustrating for fantasy owners (and of course for Mixon, who wants to get back on the field). Mixon will have missed at least six games when he’s eligible to return in Week 14. Giovani Bernard will lead the Bengals backfield over the next few weeks, with Samaje Perine getting work behind him and potentially down by the goal line.

The Eagles promoted Elijah Holyfield to the active roster.

This is an interesting addition, but the Eagles had some roster space to work with due to COVID-19. Holyfield provides a bit of a power element for the Philadelphia backfield, but he’s not a recommended Week 11 fantasy option.

The Saints are signing Garrett Griffin to the active roster.

With Taysom Hill starting at quarterback, Griffin will provide more tight new depth for the Saints tomorrow against the Falcons.

Sony Michel (quad) is being activated off injured reserve.

Michel has missed the last six games with his quad issue, and the Patriots are activating him to ensure he doesn’t spend the rest of the year on injured reserve. New England has an interesting running back group with Damien Harris and Rex Burkhead playing so well along with the reliable James White, but Michel has had success in the past with the Pats, including on a Super Bowl run a couple of seasons ago. We’d think Harris, who has three 100-yard outings in six games, will remain the lead ball-carrier for the Patriots moving forward, but Michel might have a notable role.
