The Saints are signing Trevor Siemian to the active roster.

With Drew Brees going on injured reserve, Siemian will give New Orleans more quarterback depth. This is interesting, as Taysom Hill is set to start at quarterback while Jameis Winston backs him up, but the Saints presumably want a third guy ready to go given the reckless manner Hill is likely to play with as an explosive runner.

The Titans are signing DeShone Kizer to their practice squad, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Kizer recently had a tryout with Chicago, but he’s ending up in Tennessee as depth behind Ryan Tannehill. We’ll see if the former Notre Dame standout can rejuvenate his career in a new spot.

Drew Lock (ribs) is questionable for Week 11.

The thought is that Lock will push to play against the Dolphins on Sunday, but the Broncos may ultimately hold out their young franchise quarterback. Denver kicks off in the late-afternoon window, so Lock’s status might not be known until after the 1:00 PM ET games have kicked off.

The 49ers have placed Brandon Aiyuk on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

San Francisco is currently on their bye, so as long as Aiyuk doesn’t actually have the virus, he should have plenty of time to get cleared for Week 12. The rookie was also on the list earlier this month.

Tre’Quan Smith cleared the concussion protocol.

He is not on the final injury report and will play on Sunday. We’ll see if the bigger-armed Taysom Hill can provide a bit of a boost for Smith as a downfield target, but he’s not a highly recommended fantasy option in Week 11.

Alvin Kamara is off the injury report and will play in Week 11.

This was expected as Kamara missed some more practice time with a minor ailment. It will be interesting to see what kind of offense New Orleans will have with Taysom Hill at quarterback, but Kamara should remain the engine (and hopefully won’t have too many touchdowns vultured in scoring territory).

The Saints have placed Drew Brees (ribs) on injured reserve.

Brees will now miss at least the next three games, so Taysom Hill will get an extended audition at quarterback if reports are true that he is the likely starter over Jameis Winston. Even in leagues where Hill doesn’t carry TE eligibility, he should be picked up as a potential run-heavy QB1 option with Sean Payton likely looking to prove himself right for viewing the versatile weapon as the team’s future at quarterback.
