Join now >J.K. Dobbins has tested positive for COVID-19.
Mark Ingram has also tested positive, so this obviously is not good with a Thanksgiving Night matchup with the Steelers looming. Gus Edwards is set to lead the Baltimore backfield and could get a heavy workload on Thursday evening. Dobbins now must get cleared before he can return for the Ravens, and getting back by Week 13 would probably be the best case scenario.

The Bengals are signing Brandon Allen to the active roster.
This was obviously fully expected after Joe Burrow unfortunately went down with a season-ending knee injury yesterday. Allen will back up Ryan Finley for Cincinnati.

Joe Burrow is dealing with an ACL and MCL tear.
Multiple reports say Burrow is also dealing with additional damage to his knee, so this is a pretty serious injury and doesn’t seem to be a “clean” tear of a ligament you sometimes hear about. This likely puts the start of next season in jeopardy for Burrow, but the plan should be to attack rehab—but to not return to the field until a clear 100% recovery. Burrow should have a long and successful career ahead of him, so don’t expect him and the Bengals to rush things. Mobility is a part of Burrow’s game, but he’s a pocket passer first and foremost, which is a plus. We look forward to seeing Burrow back on the field at some point in 2021.

Byron Pringle (ankle) is officially questionable to return for the Chiefs.
Pringle has been getting a good amount of playing time on offense tonight, and he’s a strong contributor on special teams, so hopefully he’s able to return to the game soon.

Randall Cobb is dealing with a “significant” toe injury.
The Texans called the injury Cobb was ruled out with during today’s win over the Patriots a “foot” issue, but NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says it’s actually a significant toe injury. Cobb is set to miss games, and there should be more of a recovery timeline available in the next day or so.

La’Mical Perine (ankle) is doubtful to return for the Jets.
Before leaving, Perine had eight carries for 33 yards and a touchdown. Hopefully this isn’t something that will keep the rookie back out for much longer than the rest of today. Frank Gore will handle most of the backfield work for the Jets over the final quarter-plus.

Joe Burrow suffered a torn ACL.
An MRI should confirm the news tomorrow; but, as Burrow tweeted earlier today, the rookie season is over for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 draft. Burrow’s rookie year ends with 2,688 passing yards, 13 passing touchdowns, and five interceptions along with another three rushing scores in ten starts. The numbers might not be overly impressive, but Burrow impressed everyone that watched him play this season and he looks to have a very bright future. He should be 100% by the start of next season, and we wish him luck on his recovery.
