Join now >The Chargers officially placed Austin Ekeler (hamstring) on injured reserve.
This was fully expected, so this move is basically a formality. Ekeler is now out until at least Week 8, but he’s been given a recovery timeframe of about four-to-six weeks. Rookie Joshua Kelley is expected to lead the Los Angeles backfield with Ekeler out, with Justin Jackson complementing him.

DeSean Jackson (hamstring) is officially out for Week 5.
Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said earlier today that they’ll see how Jackson is over the next few days, but the team has opted to rule him out ahead of the weekend. Alshon Jeffery also remains out for Philadelphia.

Julio Jones (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable for Week 5.
Jones looks like he’ll be a game-time decision once again, but he might ultimately be held back so that this hamstring issue doesn’t become something the lingers all season. The Falcons play at 1:00 PM ET this Sunday, so Jones’ status will be known that morning.
10/9/20 - 03:10 PM ET
Joe Mixon (shin) is officially questionable for Week 5.
We highly doubt Mixon misses this Sunday against the Ravens with this shin issue, so it’ll probably be the same as last week where the questionable tag has no impact on Mixon’s availability. Just double check on Sunday to ensure that the star running back is active for Week 5.
10/9/20 - 02:47 PM ET
David Njoku will play in Week 5.
Njoku’s knee injury that put him on injured reserve appears to be no longer an issue, and he’ll return to the lineup for the first time since Week 1. Cleveland has one of the most talented tight end groups in football.
10/9/20 - 12:58 PM ET
Lamar Jackson will start in Week 5.
Jackson is ready to go for Sunday against the Bengals despite missing the first two practice days of the week with a knee issue and then an illness. You can lock the reigning league MVP into fantasy lineups as a top QB1 option.
10/9/20 - 12:56 PM ET
Washington placed Steven Sims (toe) on injured reserve.
Sims will now be forced to miss at least the next three weeks while on injured reserve. The thin receiving corps for Washington will likely lean heavily on No. 1 receiver Terry McLaurin.
