Join now >Antonio Gibson (toe) is officially active for Week 16.
Gibson was said to be a game-time decision, but he’s good to go—though it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him have less than a workhorse role. While we are anticipating him being more of a low-end RB2 at less than 100%, Gibson can still come through for fantasy owners in what is close to a must-win for Washington.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire (collarbone) is officially out for the rest of Week 16.
This isn’t a great sign, and now we have to hope it isn’t a season-ender for Edwards-Helaire. Before leaving, Edwards-Helaire had nine carries for 27 yards and an impressive short-yardage touchdown along with one reception for four yards. More word on the exact extent of Edwards-Helaire’s injury should become available tonight or tomorrow.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire (collarbone) is officially questionable to return for the Chiefs.
Edwards-Helaire had a lot of weight put against his shoulder, and he was in obvious discomfort while heading to the locker room favoring his shoulder/arm. The second-year running back is presumably getting X-rays, so he and the Chiefs will be hoping for no break/fracture. We’ll update you as more information becomes available on Edwards-Helaire’s status.

James Robinson confirmed to have torn Achilles.
This was the fear when Robinson left the game earlier today. Robinson’s year is obviously over, and now he faces a big challenge in overcome the Achilles injury with an eye toward 2022. Despite being an undrafted player, Robinson has been impressive in his first two NFL seasons, and he should be a key part of the Jaguars’ plans moving forward. After rushing for 1,000 yards as a rookie, Robinson had 164 carries for 767 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns along with 31 receptions for 222 receiving yards in 15 games this season. We wish Robinson luck on his recovery.
12/26/21 - 04:39 PM ET
Miles Sanders (hand) has been ruled out for the rest of today.
Sanders was injured at the end of the first half and was called questionable, but unfortunately he’s now done for the day early in the third quarter. Before leaving, Sanders had seven carries for 45 yards and one reception for three years. Jordan Howard, Boston Scott, and Kenneth Gainwell will handle the backfield work for the Eagles for the rest of Week 16.
12/26/21 - 02:57 PM ET
Adam Thielen (ankle) is officially questionable to return for the Vikings.
Thielen, who was returning after missing a couple of games due to a high-ankle sprain, was tackled around the ankles and was in immediate pain for Minnesota. We would be surprised if Thielen returned to today’s game against the Rams. Assuming he’s done, Thielen’s Week 16 ends with two receptions for 34 yards.

James Robinson (Achilles) is out for the rest of today.
This obviously isn’t great to hear, and now we just have to hope this isn’t a torn Achilles—which is sounds like it might be based on him getting carted to the locker room and being ruled out already in the first quarter. Before leaving, J-Rob had three carries for ten yards against the Jets in Week 16. More information on Robinson’s injury should become available in the next 24 hours.
