Nick Chubb | Free Agent RB

Nick Chubb is dealing with a sprained MCL.

[UPDATE: Chubb is expected to miss six weeks with his MCL injury.] The injury will knock him out for multiple weeks, but it’s fortunately not a season-ender. Cleveland obviously has Kareem Hunt in place as the next man up, and he will immediately be elevated to weekly RB1 status for however long Chubb is out. The good news is fantasy owners should have their star runner back for the fantasy playoffs.

10/5/20 - 12:04 PM ET

Davante Adams | Rams WR

Davante Adams (hamstring) won’t play tonight.

Adams tweeted an apology to “fans and friends” for not being out there, and it sounds like he wants to give it a go, but the team is being more cautious with their star receiver. Green Bay is now very thin at receiver, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling should get a boost to high-upside WR2 territory against a very attackable Atlanta secondary. The Packers have a bye in Week 5, so Adams is fully expected to be back in Week 6.

10/5/20 - 09:45 AM ET

Sony Michel | Retired RB

Sony Michel (quad) has been ruled out for tonight’s game.

This is a bit of a surprise, and it’s tough timing for Michel coming off one of the better games of his career last week when he ran for 117 yards on just nine carries against the Raiders. Michel is not traveling with the team to Kansas City for tonight’s game, and perhaps the third-year back being out means Damien Harris will be activated from injured reserve.

10/5/20 - 09:10 AM ET

J.J. Arcega-Whiteside | Free Agent WR

J.J. Arcega-Whiteside (calf) is officially inactive for Sunday night.

Arcega-Whiteside was listed as doubtful entering tonight, so this was expected. The Eagles are also without DeSean Jackson (hamstring), Jalen Reagor (hand), and Alshon Jeffery (foot) at receiver.

10/4/20 - 06:53 PM ET

Cole Beasley | Free Agent WR

Cole Beasley (foot) has returned for the Bills.

Beasley is back in there for the Bills in the third quarter. He already has a nice leaping touchdown grab in this game.

10/4/20 - 06:25 PM ET

Josh Allen | Bills QB

Josh Allen (left shoulder) is returning to the game.

It looks like Allen went the locker room just to get a wrap/support on his left shoulder. The Bills didn’t even say anything about Allen’s status, officially, so the team obviously expects their franchise player to be back in the game when they get back on offense.

10/4/20 - 05:41 PM ET

Josh Allen | Bills QB

Josh Allen heads to locker room with apparent left shoulder injury.

Allen was holding his wrist heading into the locker room, but he initially held onto his left shoulder after hitting the ground. Hopefully the injury isn’t serious and Allen can be back for the second half, but Matt Barkley is the backup for Buffalo.
