Join now >The Patriots placed Sony Michel (quad) on injured reserve.
This escalated pretty quickly, as Michel was not thought to be in danger of missing tonight’s game after an excellent performance in Week 3, but the former first-round pick will now miss at least the next three games with his quad injury. Michel is not a must-hold in fantasy leagues, especially if you do not have IR spots available.

Damien Harris (hand) will be activated off injured reserve.
There was no word from the Patriots on this move by 4:00 PM ET, but the move is being made according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. And with Sony Michel (quad) going on injured reserve, there’s an opportunity for Harris to seize a big role in the New England backfield following a strong summer. Harris missed the first three games of the season after hand surgery.

LeSean McCoy (ankle) is week-to-week.
McCoy will miss this Thursday’s game against the Bears with a grade 2 ankle sprain, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, and he’s week-to-week after that.

The Jets re-signed Mike White to the practice squad.
White is back with the Jets after getting released last week, and he might step back into the backup quarterback spot if Sam Darnold is unable to play through his right shoulder injury.
10/5/20 - 04:22 PM ET
The Jets released Kalen Ballage from the active roster.
Ballage seems like a good bet to land back with the Jets on the practice squad, but with New York likely getting Le’Veon Bell back from injured reserve very soon (as early as this week), he’s off the active roster for now.

The Eagles have waived Adrian Killins Jr.
Killins Jr. saw some action in last night’s win, but Philadelphia is now waiving him with four other running backs on the roster. We’ll see if the undrafted rookie ends up with the practice squad or gets a chance elsewhere.

Austin Ekeler is dealing with a “serious” hamstring injury.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that Ekeler “suffered what is considered a serious hamstring injury”, adding that Ekeler will likely land on injured reserve “with the hope of returning later in the season.” This is not a surprise after the way Ekeler could not even put pressure on his leg following the injury yesterday; but now it also sounds like it might not even be a lock that Ekeler will be able to return this season. Fantasy owners should obviously hold Ekeler on rosters, and hopefully he’s back sometime in November or December.
