Nick Foles | Free Agent QB

Matt Nagy has named Nick Foles the team’s starting quarterback.

Mitchell Trubisky played quality football to start the year, but it was always going to be tough for Nagy to go away from Foles after he tossed three touchdowns in the second half of a comeback win over Atlanta. We would consider this an upgrade to the Chicago skill-position players from a fantasy perspective—particularly Allen Robinson—because Foles gives his guys more of an opportunity to make plays in contested coverage. The former Super Bowl MVP will be immediately on the streaming radar next week against Indianapolis.

Diontae Johnson | Browns WR

Diontae Johnson (concussion) has been ruled out for the rest of today’s game.

Johnson has been ruled out as the Steelers begin the second half. Before leaving, Johnson had just one carry for nine yards and no receptions. Johnson will now have to clear concussion protocol before he gets back on the field, and we hope he’s feeling better soon.

Dallas Goedert | Eagles TE

Dallas Goedert (lower body) is “gonna miss some time,” according to head coach Doug Pederson.

Pederson says they don’t yet have a timetable, but it sounds like a multi-week injury for the young tight end. While the Eagles could get Alshon Jeffery (foot) back soon, this Goedert’s absence will probably have the offense leaning more on Miles Sanders and Zach Ertz as they look to turn things around.

Jack Doyle | Retired TE

Jack Doyle (knee) is officially active for Week 3.

Doyle is back and will complement Mo Alie-Cox for the tight end group in Indianapolis. Doyle isn’t a highly recommended fantasy option this week.

Chris Carson | Retired RB

Chris Carson is dealing with a minor knee sprain.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero says the MRI confirmed that Carson’s ligaments are intact and he’s just dealing with a minor knee sprain. This is great news after it was a scary situation when Carson’s leg was twisted on a dirty play by Cowboys defensive lineman Trysten Hill yesterday. The Seattle starting running back has a chance to be fine for this Sunday against the Dolphins.

Dallas Goedert | Eagles TE

Dallas Goedert (ankle) has returned for the Eagles.

Goedert has missed most of the first half, but he’s back in the game for Philadelphia with under seven minutes remaining in the half.

9/27/20 - 02:10 PM ET

Diontae Johnson | Browns WR

Diontae Johnson is being evaluated for a possible concussion.

Johnson is officially questionable to return for the Steelers. We’ll update you with the second-year receiver’s status after he gets checked out.
