The 49ers are activating Deebo Samuel (foot) from the NFI list.
Samuel needed to be activated in order to suit up for Week 1, so this is a great sign that—at worst—he will be questionable for the opener and could return early in the year. Currently going in the mid 40s at wide receiver, Samuel brings plenty of upside and should be considered as early as the seventh or eighth round in drafts this weekend.

The Raiders are trading Lynn Bowden Jr. to the Dolphins, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Bowden Jr. was just drafted in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, but Las Vegas must not have liked the fit and are sending him to Miami (along with a sixth-round pick) in exchange for a fourth-round pick. There were some possible character concerns for the versatile rookie coming out of Kentucky, so it’d be interesting to know if something happened that caused the Raiders to make this move. Bowden Jr. will settle in behind Jordan Howard and Matt Breida.

The Chiefs have waived Kalija Lipscomb, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Lipscomb was a priority signing as an undrafted free agent earlier this year, and he could stick around in Kansas City as a practice squad candidate if unclaimed. The rookie showed well against top competition in college.

The Lions are waiving David Blough, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Detroit is going with veteran Chase Daniel as the backup to Matthew Stafford, but we’ll see if they try to sneak the second-year quarterback onto the practice squad. Blough showed well in five starts as an undrafted rookie last year, including on Thanksgiving.

The Chargers are signing Keenan Allen to a four-year extension.
The extension is worth $80 million, so it’s a massive deal for the Pro Bowl receiver. Allen has been one of the league’s most productive receivers over the years, and the Chargers clearly expect him to keep it going despite no Philip Rivers under center for the team. Expect Allen to get a heavy dose of targets from Tyrod Taylor in 2020.

The Seahawks are releasing Paul Richardson, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Richardson just recently signed with Seattle, so we’ll see if he’s potentially brought back when the dust settles over the next few days. Either way, Seattle is in good shape with D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, Josh Gordon, and Phillip Dorsett at receiver.
