Join now >Michael Carter has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
New York is today’s hot spot with 14 players (plus head coach Robert Saleh) being placed on the list, so if things worsen, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the game be postponed similar to the three from last week. For now, fantasy owners should plan to be without Carter for Week 16, and Tevin Coleman would be on the low-end RB2/FLEX map if he starts versus Jacksonville.

The Jaguars are signing Ryquell Armstead to the active roster.
The 2019 fifth-round pick of the Jags lands back on the team’s 53-man roster after his early career was pretty much derailed due to unfortunate issues with COVID-19 last year. Armstead is a bruising runner that’ll be an interesting option behind starter James Robinson over the final three games this season.

The Buccaneers are signing Le’Veon Bell.
With Giovani Bernard (hip/knee) on injured reserve and Leonard Fournette now dealing with a hamstring injury, Bell lands in about as good of a situation as possible for the defending champs. Bell didn’t get much of an opportunity during his stretch with Baltimore earlier this season, but we’ll see how quickly the former All-Pro can get up to speed for Tampa Bay. In the pass game in particular (including pass protection for Tom Brady) might be where Bell can thrive for the Bucs.

The Saints added Juwan Johnson to the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Over 10% of the NFL has tested positive for the virus over the past week-plus, but thankfully everyone appears to be feeling fine. Hopefully Johnson is no different and can get cleared to return to the team soon.

Cole Beasley has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Beasley being unvaccinated will unfortunately keep him out for ten days if he tested positive, so he likely won’t be available for a big rematch versus New England this weekend. Buffalo could also be without Emmanuel Sanders (knee) again, which sets up Isaiah McKenzie to be the No. 3 wideout behind Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis. We’d anticipate the team going to a more run-heavy approach with Devin Singletary coming off a 22-carry game.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
This is unfortunate following a great game against the Ravens, and Valdes-Scantling will now almost certainly miss the Christmas Day matchup versus Cleveland. The good news for Green Bay is that Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams already having COVID-19 keeps them out of danger from missed time at this point if the positive tests spread throughout the roster. MVS should be stashed ahead of a hopeful Week 17 return against a Minnesota defense he stung for a 4/123/1 line last month.

Washington has placed J.D. McKissic (neck) on injured reserve.
McKissic is still dealing with the effects of a big hit from a Monday night game against Seattle to end November, so he’s unfortunately now being placed on injured reserve. Washington will have to lean on Antonio Gibson more in the passing game tonight and for at least the next two games as they try to again make a late-season playoff push. If cleared, McKissic will have a chance to return for the season finale and/or postseason.
