The Packers claimed John Lovett.

Lovett gives Green Bay another versatile H-back type of player to potentially utilize in Matt LaFleur’s offense. The 2019 undrafted free agent from Princeton is off the fantasy radar for now.

The Buccaneers cut Jordan Leggett.

Tampa Bay is trimming the roster, possibly in part to have fewer guys in the mix amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The Buccaneers have a very deep tight end group, so Leggett might ultimately land in a better spot for his own value soon.

Malcolm Perry recovered from COVID-19.

Perry is among the multiple players that have recovered from the virus and donated plasma to help others fight it. It’s unclear at this point, but the thought is that getting COVID-19 once means you will not get it again, so at least Perry shouldn’t miss any more time because of the virus. Perry is fighting to make the Dolphins roster as an undrafted rookie.

The Bears placed Eric Saubert on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

A bunch of players have been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list this week. Saubert can be taken off the list and rejoin the team for activities whenever he’s cleared.

T.J. Hockenson has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Some bigger names will continue to be placed on the list as camp begins and rolls on, but hopefully everyone can make a full recovery if they actually catch the virus as opposed to just coming in contact with someone that has it. Hockenson could be in line for a breakout campaign in his second season.

The Lions have placed Kenny Golladay on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Golladay will miss the start of camp along with tight end T.J. Hockenson. If he is indeed a positive test and not just someone that cam in close contact with an infected person, hopefully the illness doesn’t impact him too much. At least if Golladay does have the virus, he could be immune if people are unable to be infected a second time.

Washington placed Logan Thomas on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Thomas will start a big training camp for him off to the site, and hopefully he can get cleared soon. The team has an open depth chart at tight end.
